Autumn is now in her 30s so she's technically been an adult for more than ten years. WHY did Autumn not get a paternity test and reunite with this family before now?
Mixed feelings about this one....the daughter harbors resentment towards mom which if she was unfit as daughter claims..rightfully so but why does she resent her sisters? I noticed she called her sisters " her daughters" but when speaking about her father and the baby who died in the fire she said brother...

Glad someone else can see it beside me. I think daughter is going to be like a vulture over grandma just waiting for the will. Daughter has been an adult way too long and could have found her family a lot sooner.
The daughter has a lot of attitude and mouth like her mother but the mom takes the cake. Her dad probably didn’t want to deal with the mother and her multiple men and shadiness.
Dad's side is a good looking family and seems like they have integrity, her mom is pretty and the daughter is beautiful, but the talking over each other was driving me to want to scream at them. I don't know what is going on between her and her mother, not much of that came up. Sad that she never got to meet her father.
@@mohamedalmarzooqi6320 Many of us were (are) not raised together in the same household is the main issue as to why some don't view half siblings as full. Really it depends on the relationship between them. I personally don't say "half sister/brother," just my sister/brother.
@@mohamedalmarzooqi6320 not true for all... in the African American community or Hispanic community we don't call our siblings half, they are our siblings. We don't say half. I never knew anyone I grew up with saying half brother/sister, just sister and brother.
Agreed. This young woman has idealized her deceased father and his family, she doesn't have an ounce of gratitude for anything her mother has done for her, despite whatever poor decisions she may have made.
To be fair, you know NOTHING of how SHE was treated by her MOTHER..... never walked in HER shoes so you DON'T KNOW how YOU WOULD react. My Mother was horribly abused by my GrandMa, like underfed, face wiped in her own diapers, not watching her and my Mother STILL loved my GrandMa until the end. I always loved her as well but when I learned of that it wasn't really the same love that I HAD HAD..... I personally would have NEVER spoke to my Mother again if she would have done that to me. (Thankfully my Mother did NOT repeat the abusive cycle) So, I mean, you just CANT SAY how SOMEONE ELSE should react to a situation. You don't know the FULL STORY of their relationship! Have a good day!
I'm irritated with Judge on this one.. she allowed the plaintiff to completely disrespect and talk over her mother, but chastised the mother for that very reason! I'm also annoyed with the mother's assertion that she wanted social security so her daughter could have "nice clothes"; SERIOUSLY?!
I caught the "nice clothes" part too. As a mother who has struggled sometimes, I get it. But you don't say THAT. A better choice of words would have been I needed the money to support my child and let that be it.
She also said it was for child support. Does that mean the man on the birth certificate wasn't paying child support? If she wanted the actual father to pay child support she should have put him on the birth certificate.
@@arrickaknightley6299 I guess not. And if she needed child support she should have been pursuing it from SOMEONE, it looked strange that she did it after she found out that a man died. If she thought he was the father and needed help she should have been trying to contact him.
I hope that she will get over the things her mom done and find forgiveness. I think that is fundamental to her healing as well. This is a happier ending to a tragic incident there's still a part of him to love I hope grandma gets that time.
Even if the mom had a motive for social security, if you wanted to know you'd do the test. She would have been entitled. Clearly the man paid nothing up until she was 8 before he passed
She calls her own mother woman?this is more than a DNA test to find the biological father...i think she feels like her mother was never there for her and never acted as a mother....
So glad she got some kind of closure and what a lovely gift and gesture from miss Myers to her. Hope she finds happiness out of the knowing but also out of the wisdom and value of life that comes from loss!!
I am soooooo relieved these nice people are indeed her family! She deserves them. I am truly happy for all of them. Am I alone in having a brief moment of slight suspicion that judge Lauren lied, because the drama would obviously have been too much to bear for the young woman if the man was not her father?
Parents don’t deserve respect by default. If her mother was the cause of her poor upbringing (for starters, by putting someone else on the birth certificate), she has the right to be upset.
It hurt to hear the daughter say she called her mother "that women"! no matter what the case, thats extremely hurtful and disrespectful, the mother was hurt by all the talk, then she didn't get the chance to really give her side of the story, seems this could be a painful and cruel experience to have to go through, though we can't really judge the mother story fully, but i feel her pain also, God Knows and will be fair when humans fail
Imo, whenever a parent says to their child “it wasn’t my fault,” they really need to think about what they’re responsible for when bringing children into the world and raising them. Kids deserve to be secure and stable, emotionally, physically, in the family and home environment, through educational resources, and financially. If a parent can’t provide all of those basics to the children their raising, it is their fault.
@@ashleypatten849 There is a difference between being poor and not being able to provide for yourself much less another person. If the parent or parents are insecure in some vital area, perhaps they should figure out how to create a stable foundation before bringing children into the world. People entirely control when they have children - pregnant isn’t airborne.

She did not need the mother to get a DNA test.
She probably had to go through mom to get information. She doesn’t remember meeting him and her mom didn’t make an effort until he was gone.
she was busy hating her mom
She was too busy whining and blaming.
Exactly!
Mixed feelings about this one....the daughter harbors resentment towards mom which if she was unfit as daughter claims..rightfully so but why does she resent her sisters? I noticed she called her sisters " her daughters" but when speaking about her father and the baby who died in the fire she said brother...
The acorn is not falling far from the tree. Like mother, like daughter. Granny is going to die and bet she has a will. Autumn waited way too long as an adult to seek her father's family.
Maybe her sisters were treated differently than her because they had their father in their lives? And she resents that.
@@CrystalRuizEnriquez her oldest sis n her "shared the same legal father". She just a BRAT. Sorry but not sorry. She resents her mother for numerous of things. But I feel she using her not knowing her father as the main excuse

It's amazing!
So sad. Kids should know who their parents are.
I feel like Judge Lauren did not give the mom any opportunity to tell her side from jump. That's not ok.
Thanks because I agree. The mother was on the defense and was talking way too much and all over the place. But, I feel like the daughter just wont give her a chance and probably cancelled her years ago. Daughter is dragging the WOE IS ME thing for sure and my own mother has done some downright hurtful things in my life but I could never find myself talking and addressing her this way.. @sharon jerome
She does that alot when it's a grown child.
Sure, the mother has been pushed aside by all these so called good people, even the judge didn't give her a good chance to speak out. I feel very sorry for mum.

This young women has a lot of her mother in her, both looks and attitude .
Exactly
But why, it's obvious this young lady is in a world of pain. The mother is coming off like a compulsive liar and a manipulative woman
LaRae Carter ummm.. when you have a mom like that, you lose respect for her .. it may come off as attitude , but respect is earned
Dad's side is a good looking family and seems like they have integrity, her mom is pretty and the daughter is beautiful, but the talking over each other was driving me to want to scream at them. I don't know what is going on between her and her mother, not much of that came up. Sad that she never got to meet her father.
her mother also is a very good looking, you can not deny that, you are right there
She had there eyes. I knew immediately once I looked in the grandma’s face. They all have her eyes!
Three minutes in and I'm rolling my eyes at the daughter.Your dad was also to responsible for getting to know you.
We dont know if the lieing mother ever even told the dad about the baby.
@@jamiepinkerton955 Mom told him not to come to the birth. Dad knew about her.
Geez! Could you please watch and UNDERSTAND the video again.
It’s called parental alienation and happens on a daily basis to thousands of kids every day.
Her mother had a responsibility to properly identify the father.
The disrespect that is shown. Her other daughters.. Those are your sisters...
She is the one looking for "Clout" on the other side. She moved up into the really jealous, backstabbing world now.
For some reasons in the US half siblings are not considered full time siblings. I find it weird.
@@mohamedalmarzooqi6320 Many of us were (are) not raised together in the same household is the main issue as to why some don't view half siblings as full. Really it depends on the relationship between them. I personally don't say "half sister/brother," just my sister/brother.
@@MrsAK.Simmons yeh this is how itis supposed to be said
@@mohamedalmarzooqi6320 not true for all... in the African American community or Hispanic community we don't call our siblings half, they are our siblings. We don't say half. I never knew anyone I grew up with saying half brother/sister, just sister and brother.
So happy for them 💜
Blessings of pure love, light & energy to all 💜
No matter what I don’t think you should call your mother “woman” atleast call her by her real name or something idk🙄😗
You don't know the pain that young lady experienced. People react to things differently!!
Voice of REASON yes I do because I have walked in her shoes and WORSE so trust I KNOW.
The example she provided was having to babysit her siblings while her mother went to casino...
@@JustSheaShea exactly, Sis!
@@JustSheaShea I completely agree with you.

This is the First time i've teared up watching paternity court. Im so glad he was her father. What a sad case.
I didnt like the way the daughter treated her mother at all
But maybe there is a reason for it. Doesn't seem like the mother would allow anyone else to speak. Lots of talking. I think her mother is a mess.
I didn't like the way her mother treated her. Maybe there's a reason why she's the only daughter that has contact with her.
That mother caused her a lot of damage in her life
The mom was ridiculous from the jump.
The daughter is the victim of her mother's selfish and narcissistic behavior.
1:22 Thats how you know her mother was irresponsible and immature since her daughter has the guts to speak ill of her.

Even if the mom had a motive for social security, if you wanted to know you'd do the test. She would have been entitled. Clearly the man paid nothing up until she was 8 before he passed

I wonder if the man on the birth certificate did.
@@tastx3142 I do too.
Somebody must have because child support isn't going to let it go. Whoever is on the birth certificate is going to pay.
How could
The other man would have been ordered to pay child support because she manipulated the situation because she is evil
She calls her own mother woman?this is more than a DNA test to find the biological father...i think she feels like her mother was never there for her and never acted as a mother....
Seems like her childhood was horrible with her mother

I am soooooo relieved these nice people are indeed her family! She deserves them. I am truly happy for all of them. Am I alone in having a brief moment of slight suspicion that judge Lauren lied, because the drama would obviously have been too much to bear for the young woman if the man was not her father?

Judge can read when people are denying / deceptive.
The mother sure was loud & talked over anyone who tried to give testimony. She did talk a lot but I don't think she helped herself any.
I agree!!! She couldn't even finish a statement.
Isha Muhammad though so too
I know you're mad at you're mom but you still show respect girl.
She seems like such a down to earth person! I happy she got these result! God bless her! 💙
I am glad that Autumn was able to finally have the closure she needed cus there was so much confusion and I am happy also for grandma
You make it sound like you don't think poor people should have children considering money is on your list.
Wow I had goosebumps when Judge said “was” a lot of sadness...
