      Felt is the key word here. Sometimes we expect life to bow to our every need. When it doesn't happen we have feelings. By a certain age though we realize our problems have little to do with our Moms. My Mom used to take off bowling every Friday night leaving me at home with my much older siblings. My Mom went out on dates. My Mom never baked a cake on my birthday and gifts were seldom due to poverty.She never got involved with my schooling. She didn't know who my friends were. Still, I would have never treated my Mom like that.

Of course if the father of your child dies you're going to want to file for Social Security, there is nothing wrong with that. Where I would fault the mother is trying to hide the fact that she was his daughter and putting her husband's name on the birth certificate instead of just leaving it blank.

    Despite the fact that she didn't know the truth about her father, her mother raised her decently and that's more than most people can say.
    It seems like the daughter is using her mother's mistakes to live a "woe is me" life and avoid some personal responsibility. But let's watch.

      @Kitten Lyric Thank you. Every time the mother spoke she was talked over. Of course she was all over the place; she was trying to fit so much in a few seconds because no one would let her speak. I was so annoyed when the judge yelled at her that she didn't want to hear her because she hadn't heard her at all at that point. Even if the judge wanted to hear what the grandparents thought the mother's motivation was, she could have also let the mother state what her actual motivation was. Based on what little I could make out of what the mother tried to say, I have a feeling the mother had a lot to say that the daughter needed to listen to for accurate closure.

    So glad she got some kind of closure and what a lovely gift and gesture from miss Myers to her. Hope she finds happiness out of the knowing but also out of the wisdom and value of life that comes from loss!!

    I am soooooo relieved these nice people are indeed her family! She deserves them. I am truly happy for all of them. Am I alone in having a brief moment of slight suspicion that judge Lauren lied, because the drama would obviously have been too much to bear for the young woman if the man was not her father?

    Parents don’t deserve respect by default. If her mother was the cause of her poor upbringing (for starters, by putting someone else on the birth certificate), she has the right to be upset.

    It hurt to hear the daughter say she called her mother "that women"! no matter what the case, thats extremely hurtful and disrespectful, the mother was hurt by all the talk, then she didn't get the chance to really give her side of the story, seems this could be a painful and cruel experience to have to go through, though we can't really judge the mother story fully, but i feel her pain also, God Knows and will be fair when humans fail

    Imo, whenever a parent says to their child “it wasn’t my fault,” they really need to think about what they’re responsible for when bringing children into the world and raising them.
    Kids deserve to be secure and stable, emotionally, physically, in the family and home environment, through educational resources, and financially. If a parent can’t provide all of those basics to the children their raising, it is their fault.

    • @ashleypatten849

      You make it sound like you don't think poor people should have children considering money is on your list.

    • @fitnessfocused
      @fitnessfocused 3 года назад

      @@ashleypatten849 There is a difference between being poor and not being able to provide for yourself much less another person. If the parent or parents are insecure in some vital area, perhaps they should figure out how to create a stable foundation before bringing children into the world. People entirely control when they have children - pregnant isn’t airborne.
