The book TRAILBLAZERS FOR GOD has just been published in Amazon. It tells the same story from the side of the other missionary shown in this video, Lorrie Anderson. It is available in both English and Spanish.

I just can't imagine what that dear father went through when Nate died in such a horrible way. I do believe that only his faith in the Lord could carry him through, and indeed it did.

This is a magnificent video about a Valiant Woman of Faith, Rachel
Saint, titled, “This Is Your Life - Rachel Saint.” It’s in 2 parts and was aired
in 1957. Part 1 is here. Dayuma, an Auca woman, is with her on the TV program.

What a wonderful story! I just finished reading the story of Rachel Saint ~ God used her to reach the Auca Indians ! Also, the story of Nate Saint, her younger brother who was actually killed by this group of people she is ministering to, is such an inspiring story! God used the brutal murders of Nate Saint and 4 other men on Palm Beach to open the door and reach this tribe of Indians with the gospel! An amazing story!!!

El libro PIONEROS PARA DIOS ha sido publicado recientemente en Amazon. Relata los mismos hechos desde el lado de la otra misionera mostrada en este video, Lori Anderson. El libro está disponible en inglés y en español.

Interestingly there is a Crest toothpaste ad in this segment. I don't know if Crest was the first to add fluoride to toothpaste. Whatever the formula in the 1950's-early 60's, it was for adults only! It was a pretty, turquoise blue color unlike other toothpastes. I was really little and I used to sneak tiny tastes since it was a forbidden fruit for kids.
How different are things today. EVERYTHING has child proofing, from the most innocuous substances to car doors. In the 50's and 60's people, even consumers, were assumed to be smart enough to take responsibility for their families and themselves. Now people expect government and laws to replace common sense. Had I as a very small child, decided to eat a tube of forbidden Crest toothpaste, my mom would have caught me since she was a stay at home mom. She would have spanked me because in those days children could be disciplined. (I don't necessarily believe in spanking but for most of us, I don't think there was a negative effect other than fear of repeated bad behavior.)
A second ad in this segment is for Tide laundry soap. What was all that fury about people eating "Tide-Pods" a couple years ago? Are we getting stupider as we evolve?

The story of these missionaries and their wives is such an amazing one: a testimony of some of the greatest Christians of perhaps all time. But this show is so cringe. The show host and interviewer is one of the most awkward and untalented ones I have seen in my entire life; actually he is by FAR the most awkward and inexperienced that I have ever seen.

Breaks my heart to think of the missionaries who were killed back in the 1950's; among them Rachel's brother. They left behind children who grew up without fathers and wives who had no means of support. How selfish! If they HAD to convert the savages, they should have remained single. When Jesus said "Go us therefore", He didn't mean that far therefore.
