Let’s talk about what Neptune can do in her NEXT Form. Her 3rd EXE Drive, Dimensional Slice was described as “slicing through the concept of the enemy.”
Conceptual Manipulation is very OP. You can manipulate the very origin of the object’s makeup and change it. Either to create it, reform it, or destroy it into oblivion.
Example:
You’re facing Mistress Death. And then, you slice even through the concept of death. Effectively destroying it and breaking the rules of reality.
In other words, YOU KILLED DEATH!!!
TLDR:
Your enemy may be clean, but their mom is s***! So he is literally s***!
That’s how Dimensional Slice works. It ERASES the entity/effect and its origin off the face of existence! Regardless of the weakness!
Based on her perspective, if you are facing some multiversal level entities, with just one slash, it’s gone!

The joke is she's just damaging the enemies
But, at the same time she's Breaking the Fourth wall and is basically involving the Player spiritually
@@shelbybayer200 I doubt it's just a joke. The skill descriptions are written from the POV of their users and while Purple Heart is definitely quite cocky and full of herself, she wouldn't just say something like that with no basis behind it.

The Skill description isn't written by the Characters at all
The Description is specifically a Gag to us the Player
As the 'Joke' is that because it's a Video game attack it needs to have a different damage output
Usually in RPGs the highest you can damage is +999999 damage
@@shelbybayer200 They are from the characters, they literally use words like "I" and "me" and "my" repeatedly. The Stat Multiplier skill has Neptune bring up the fact that she's the protagonist like she tends to do, Nepgear's heals have her explain that Rom taught her healing magic, and there's tons more stuff.

Like, the HDD ones too, I love how distinct each one is despite going in roughly the same direction. Same with the Gold Forms. But then the NEXT Form transformations are each _completely_ unique to each character, and I love that!

I loved using next form even though it isn't really as good as EXE 1 for most (Neptune Break, Infinite Slash, etc.), they all look great though. I also think Infinite Slash becomes slightly bigger in that form if I recall correctly (Megadimension PS4 version) so it has a use.

Am I alone in thinking how it's weird that when they transform their personalities become the opposite of what their original personalities are
No, I do too
Neptune - becomes serious and heroic ( well her normal form is heroic too but...)
Nepgear - stops doubting herself
Uzume - shows off a cutesy side
Noire - becomes more serious and less tsundere
Uni - becomes less outwardly cocky and serious
Blanc - more aggressive
Ram and rom - less playful and shy and more serious
Vert - shows off about her beauty in a more mature way (idk that's what I've noticed at least)
@@ThatoneFelicia, actually, in one of the games it's stated that Vert doesn't really change at all, different from all the others.
Outside of Neptune, I don’t see them different then their goddess transformation (most of them just seems to be more confident in showing their inner or true self.)
