I don’t know how great he will be, but I was relieved when Arsenal got beat out for his signature at that price tag. @@samhuggins2656Being first place is hard, man. Like… sometimes I look at the league table and just weep that we are so good. 15 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss? Wow… brings a tear to my eye. At that price tag if you care to look Shakthar's C.E.O said on an interview that Arsenal's bid was the same as Chelsea's he met with CFC representatives and preferred to go to Chelsea because of their plans for the future. It was nothing to do with paying Shakthar more money.

It's fascinating watching this again a year later. Mudryk's sheer athleticism had carried him at Shakhtar, but he's still plagued by the same issues. He seriously lacks football IQ (for lack of a better word). His decision making and off the ball movement especially aren't even at the premier league level. These are coachable attributes sure and I think Poch is fantastic coach for him, but to still distinctly lack football intuition at 23 isn't a good sign. Mudryk still has promise, but a world class player with ballon d'or levels of promise? Nowhere close
Hey Rabona TV! Another great video. Your content is genuine. Just a note, since I know you value authenticity, it's just "Ukraine" not "the Ukraine". Common mistake but it is considered offensive. Keep up the great videos!

Appreciated Michael! Even as a Prem neutral (I support Benfica), he's one of those players that forces people like myself to tune into Chelsea matches just because he's *_that_* exciting on the ball. Hope it works out for him!
everyone is saying that Arsenal took an L on this one but I just think it was a masterful ruse by the Arsenal board to artificially inflate this guy's market value so that Chelsea would poach him. Don't get me wrong he is a baller in his own right but nowhere near the price he was acquired for.
Arsenal were willing to pay just as much as Chelsea, just not in acceptable way with add ons and such for Shaktar, so that doesn't really make any sense. They took a massive L, it happens.
I think you are overreacting to the Mudryk transfer. Shaktar representative had an interview with Sky Sports that you can find on there channel. He said, Chelsea matched the fee Arsenal had given. The big difference why Mudryk and Shaktar accepted Chelsea is because 1) Pay Structure 2) Structure on Bonus This for Shaktar seem more reasonable. Edu coming to hand in a transfer proposal failed. Was unrealistic. Surely, Arsenal were super interested because Edu flew out. They had been in contract talks for quite some time. Even dating back last summer. Not to mention, Chelsea gave Mudryk a solid 8 year contract. Something that Arsenal did not offer. At the end, it was not a masterful ruse by Arsenal board that you suggest on inflating the guy's market value. It's because Arsenal did not want play out realistic pay structure and structure on bonus. Saving pennies for that matter. Two minimal things that lead to both player and club to join Chelsea with more realistic approach. This is also a fact: I just don't like how Edu handled the negotiations. Edu made Zinchecnko reach out to Mudryk on IG. Marketing Arsenal to the kid. That is considered tampering. Forcing the kid to force Shaktar and put pressure on Shaktar. I understand that benefits Arsenal but that clearly lacks professionalism. Chelsea did the right thing reaching out to Club first, than reaching out to player. Arsenal reached out first to the player, than to the club.
