Tommy at the Icelandic Festival, Islendingadagurinn, in Gimli 2023 with Icelandic Grandma May!

Tommy was so lucky to go to the Icelandic Festival in Gimli, Manitoba, the Islendingadagurinn, with his Grandma May, who is Icelandic! Grandma May's first language was Icelandic, as her parents were both from Iceland. Grandma May has wanted to go the the Islendingadagurinn her whole life! At 92, she finally went! We met with our Icelandic cousins there- some we already knew, and others we met there for the first time! We were so happy to meet them :) Tommy of course had lots of questions for everyone, and Tyrone of course was perfectly behaved! It was a great day, and we hope you enjoy this video. Cousin Greg and Aunt Kathy came too, and Tommy had fun being with everyone. To all our Icelandic cousins or "frændi" we appreciate each of you, and your warm welcoming of us every time we meet!
