Tommy having fun sawing dead trees at the cottage with his Dad

Happy Father's Day! Tommy loves to do work of any kind, and had fun sawing to help clean up dead trees with his Dad on our cottage property! He loves to yell "Timber!" as the tree is about to fall :) Tommy always has fun with his Dad, whether they are working happily together or playing together or on their long daily runs (and bike) together. Happy Father's Day to all of Tommy's friends out there! Have a great day!
PS Some friends have asked how we are doing because of the forest fires in Northern Quebec and Ontario- we are fine! The air is smoky off and on in Ottawa but we have all been safe. Hope all of Tommy's friends are safe too, wherever you might be :)

I hope you guys had a wonderful father's day! I celebrated father's day a day early with my parents by taking my father out to Chipotle and giving him his gift (which was a t-shirt I decorated with famous cartoon character dads - Homer Simpson, Fred Flintstone, Bandit Heeler (from Bluey), George Jetson, Felonious Gru (from Despicable Me) and Bob Belcher from Bob's Burgers) and a card with Bowser and Bowser Jr. from Super Mario! When I heard you asking Tommy if he was a lumberjack, the famous Monty Python Lumberjack Song popped up in my mind. My parents sang that to my older sister as a baby since they didn't know any lullabies. I also heard Tommy mention Paul Bunyan, and on the 28th of June, it's Paul Bunyan Day in the United States. Tommy yelling "TIMBER!" reminded me of some MGM cartoons I've been watching on MeTV (namely one with Droopy Dog named Daredevil Droopy) where Butch (Droopy's nemesis) chopped down a pole, and was going, "TIM", but then the pole fell on Butch, and he went, "Ber." These were dead trees that needed to come down before falling on someone lol there are so many little healthy trees coming up all the time- no worries about replacing the trees we needed to remove :) Thanks for thinking of nature and our planet.
