Just Did this on my father in laws 2021 tab 400. The access panel was a little different, followed your video to a T and it worked perfectly!! The new soft start comes with wago connectors already connected on wires from soft start which made it even easier. He has a Westinghouse 2300 generator, on Propane its like 2150 and ran his ac perfectly, even on low mode it still worked. Thanks for your detailed video, made install a breeze!!
I also have a Tab 400 with Coolcat AC under dinette seat plus run the Honda 2200i. Starts fine if no other power loads such as converter trying to charge battery. Can switch generator to Eco mode “after” compressor starts. That lets RPMs drop for less noise and more economic operation. But if compressor cycles, Eco mode won’t restart AC. My question: will softstart allow you to leave inverter-generator on Eco mode??
Fantastic! I love using my 2200 Honda generator and I don't need to carry anything heavier to power-up the A/C. The Easystart does all the heavy lifting for my small generator.
