I’m 70-years old and retired. I had childhood dreams of becoming a military pilot, but was diagnosed as quite near-sighted at age 10. At the time, we were years away from laser eye surgery so I had to give up my dream early on, but I’ve never lost my love of aviation. I’ve seen a number of interviews with “Mace” since her retirement and never fail being totally impressed with her maturity and outlook on life, along with her willingness to share her vulnerable experiences and lessons learned. I believe she’s either engaged or recently married and cannot help but project she’ll be an awesome parent someday.
