Its played out of an E7 chord, not with the usual 1st and 2nd fret fingering but starting at the 5th fret using the C7 fingering. Love this !
@ Deb- no great music anymore? Really?
I remember when CCR came out! They were and still are an incredible band! Their music stands out and always will!
Loved them then, Love them still..
I’m 63 and saw John Fogerty night before last. Finally ✔️
Only one rock radio station within listening distance where I live. Too bad all they play is Comfortably Numb 10 times a day, and then no CCR, ACDC, etc. Thank you Pandora and RUclips!
The Credence is the best band ever
If I had a son, "don't let the man get you, do what he done to me" is advice I would definitely give him. 'Cause he'll get you.
Classic ccr that's right don't let the man get you
God bless Cajun country
Louisiana is beautiful
La musica que no tiene tiempo . No pasa de moda
John Fogerty: best vocals of ’60s Rock. Period. His voice on this is strong, passion, raw, power... just... BRUTAL!!! Heavy metal style before heavy metal was invented.............
Pelo interior do Brasil, Creedence é lenda...
Erva, natureza, cidades pequenas e charmosas, mulheres lindas...
Tudo que o Rock'nRoll precisa!
There is only one Fogerty
For the life of them, they just can write music like this anymore!
Good Music is GOOD MUSIC! :-)
Good is getting harder to find. Great even more so.
Can't ever get enough of CCR!! Music isn't made like this anymore...
Makes you appreciate the "oldies" your parents used to listen to when you were younger.. ☺️
Yep I agree!!! Yeaaaaaa!!!!

I'm 21 but also grew up with CCR, my dad has these tapes from when he was young. They were even known in the small Dutch farmers town I come from!
Really good music, can listen to it all day!
Than You for giving me a Country to Serve!!! MK 🇺🇸 Signal Corp!

My dad loves this song. And I love it too.
And now i love you! 😍❤️
How old are you
@@philliphowson1937 i'm sex years old.. 💪💪
My parents, not exactly fans of rock and both born in 1917, loved CCR. ❤️ 🎶
@@AmericanVanGoghgreat music existed way before Credence Clear Water Revival. And I listen to a lot of pre Credence music. Credence has a place for my listening enjoyment as well.

Mucho que baile’ con esa canción en mi juventud!❤❤❤❤
Summer of ‘70 I think it was, Municipal Auditorium, New Orleans. My Mom bought me tickets to see CCR. They opened with this song. The next day I went to Gipson Discount Store and bought every CCR album available. Best times of my life for a 10th grader.

i grew up listening to this band,*👍📀🔊🎵🎶🎸
so did i
yeah, I noticed from the use of emoji you make
I wish I could ☹️ but I can listen the music now
Me too. One of the first songs I learned on the guitar was 'Down On The Corner' from 'Willy & the Poorboys'. I learned lots of their songs, including this one. They are so easy to play, but structured so elegantly, with subtle touches here and there. When 'Mardi Gras' came out in 1972 and Tom Fogerty had left the band, I knew their time was limited.
This is the best music in the planet, The creedence are great 🤩😉
Long Live Swamp Rock❗️🔥🔥
MYTHICAL!
Italian here 30 years old, jus listened to John yesterday night in Lucca, Italy, the man still rocks at nearly 80 years old \m/
From Venus via Mars, I love CCR ❤❤❤🎶🎶✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
The nice little interlude at about 215 really sells the next part of the song. Wishing and hoping for memories and sacred places.
Creedence never gets old. It sounds solidly American! Salute to our vets.
hopper over nam. Charlie would have ran like hell!
Kick ass old song.. was on our parents jukebox growing up up
u got cool parents dayum
This might be my favorite CCR song. Classic.
This is the kind of music I love to blast in my truck and shout all the lyrics
Absolute goosebumps when John utters that first line. Unbelievable vocals.
Great music for all time.
Creedence are rock royalty. Glorious
Listen to this song for the thousandth time and it still sounds as fresh as the first time.

Y con un toquecito
I used to work in South Louisiana since 2005 to 2010, Houma City, near to Neo Orleans, the Cajun country; and this song reminds me my years in that beautiful place..
Listening to this 12:05 AM on the Fourth of July
I believe I am the first today
Happy fourth of July brother! I'm the 2nd! 😆
And I’m doing it again… lol :)
