On the battlefield size matters. In the tall grass you might want a 2 foot tall robot with a rifle. Along the rivers you would need one that can swim. And the transports would be land or air drones. The worst are the insect robots. Manufactured by the millions because they are cheap. They are very short range and need a drone for delivery and pick up. Maybe a range of an 1/8th mile then they are picked up. So you swarm the enemy with a few thousand at a time. Then you send in the cleanup crew to pick up the insect bots that remain. Use magnets for rapid pickup by air.
I would love to have a robot friend to help me. Do stuff? I just hit 62 years old today. And the constant chores of a hard job and family, it's never-ending it. Would sure be great to have somebody shovel snow for me? And other things and have conversations with. Cause though I am a family man.I am quite lonely at times I think it would be great to have a robot companion
