0.5 is better as it can be used for fine details.
However the thing really important is skills and experience, 0.5 or 0.7 doesn't matter that much

Also, Di please tell me if I can use Ruler 📏 in UCEED exam or not.
I can draw straight lines with my free hand but using a ruler just saves a lot of time and the sketch also remains clean.

When you are giving your exam, read instructions written on the question paper. If it is mentioned that you cannot use a ruler you should not.
