"Broken Crown" is right.
Jax realised that the Club had changed for the worse, and when he became President, intended to reform it to being a genuine, non-violent Club.
But as a result of various circumstances, he ended up causing even more violence (sadistic at times) and death.
As he said at one point in the series 'you can't sit in this seat without being a savage'.😟
Excellent, albeit very sad series.

Maybe you should watch the wire or the sopranos. SoA could've been great if it wasn't milked to shit and simply ended season 4 or 5.

LB DJ Its not complicated when you watch it, but you have to watch a bit to undestand it properly. Its by far one of the most brilliantly made shows out there. Based on he story of Hamlet. Give it a try.
