      Hi! I’m following the finger drumming course. It’s nice but I’m at day two and I’m still getting the same video as the day one. Also, I can’t fill the feedback form. Is the any solution to this problem? I’m running safari as well as google chrome.

    I would be very interested in hearing about the patterns too. I think they really needed to do that to catch up with Native Instruments.

      Lol...just trying to figure out how to review an expansion without doing a two hour video

    They should make it easier to swap and mix kits because everyone who use the same kits will sound the same. I dont feel they are My own beats enough to use the kits as are.

    • @pinkbuddha_samplepackreviews
      @pinkbuddha_samplepackreviews  Год назад +2

      That's not a bad point. I mean, you could always just open the folders themselves, and access the samples. Drop them into your own kit. What I often do, is start with a kit that's *most* of the way there. Then delete the samples I don't like and just replace those.

      I kinda agree. However, you can always load two or three kits and interchange the sounds between them, or put them on different tracks so you can play, for example, the drums from one kit and the effects from the other. This is useful if you are going to record the beat. If you wanna play live I recommend replacing the tonal hits with another ones from different sources to make your own or transpose them and put some extra fx on it when possible. That’s what I do, it doesn’t always work but sometimes I come up with interesting results. At the end it’s all about experimentation. To conclude: these kits are great, meant to be used as a practice tools or performing live rather than using them for professional compositions or placements. ❤

      @@PabloDeModeOfficial Ohh yes definitely agree with your suggestions but what I'm going to do is open MPC beats DAW and start an idea there prehaps lay down some sample chops from Akai sound packs and or a beat save it. Then I'll open Reason 12 and open the project in the MPC beats VST and then use Reaon devices ontop.

      @@HOLLASOUNDS That’s the best thing you can do! I made an 80’s synthpop tune on the MPC One using samples from my own arsenal and the buit in plugins for extra melodic content and then I recorded my vocals on Logic, mixed, mastered (with fellow producers/musicians) and published to the world :p So this method you explained is really great! I see myself playing on the MPC until I find a pattern I like and for post production I also use other tools but I’m trying to work only with the MPC as much as I can :)

    can i use akai sample packs in maschine

    • @pinkbuddha_samplepackreviews
      @pinkbuddha_samplepackreviews  Год назад +1

      mmmmmm......yes and no. You can certainly take any of the samples, and drag them into Maschine to play. But you can't just "open it up" in Maschine like you can on the MPC. You can, however, go the other way around.....i.e. convert Maschine expansions to MPC ones through a software I reviewed. I'm assuming you have a Maschine?
