I’m looking for a new house (preferably) which is atleast 40 mins or less drive to DFW airport.
Price range $400,000 - 500,000
Prefer - water view if available
Important - Good neighborhood
Others we can talk once we get to know more about the availability of houses as per the requirements i laid.
Is it in a dilapidated neighborhood
The floor plan is OK and the closets are great, but the bedrooms each have just one window. The phony fireplace cheapens the living room.
Drawback is it's so close to the neighbors you can smell their farts.
Gorgeous house! I've seen expensive houses with worst finishes and lay out. You could always retile the fireplace and stain the pillars in the kitchen.

I absolutely LOVE this home! Best floor plan I've seen on your channel! I don't understand why the price is so reasonable .. only $360k? Why? It's so rare to see a single story on your channel. I've been wondering if they are rare in Texas? Anyway, I love this place.
It's actually not a reasonable price. Just a few years ago it would have gone for 100k less easily. It's also in a rough part of Dallas that's undergoing gentrification. No, single story homes aren't rare in Texas but the channel typically showcases homes in certain areas and price points where the homes tend to be larger, two story, and more expensive.
Did you pay attention to the houses on either side of the property. That's why it's so low. That home doesn't fit the area. It's like my 2nd house i had. Once i finished it. Value wise could easily sale for $100,000. But houses in the area only sold for $65,000 at best. Now you take that same house and put it where i am now, it would sale for $150,000 to $200,000. Location Location Location.

I like the house. Master suite could be bigger. Wasn't too keen on kitchen and dinning room at the front door. No backyard at all. But my total dislike wasn't from home. Beautifully done, but was for what i saw and what they tried to shield. Both left and right sides of the home. The kitchen and bath makes the house. The block makes and sales the home. My eyes was drawn to both sides very fast.
Beautiful house do have any homes in DeSoto Texas I'm thinking about moving there tried of living up North
What's the square footage?
Someone moving from California or New York would pay this price perhaps especially with gentrification going on in the area.

I built my own house my father, uncle and I. Poured the slab, framed it, drywall, bricked it, wired it and plumbing. If you have the know how you can build this exact home for well under 100k today!

@@austins9667 Inflation is the devaluing of a currency so something that used to cost $5 now cost $7. There is only one way inflation happens ...when govts devalue their currency by printing up trillions of dollars out of thin air. 😎
