I wonder if the build could be improved, Saint sworn can deal out much higher damage while maintaining somewhat simmer speeds (slower obviously) even with out chain stacks and gives more 3 mantra slots (2 combat, 2 support, 1 wildcard compared to jet strikers 1 combat and 1 mobility) which can help save you from using around 12 seconds before chaser to farm chain and equip mantras, on top of this you might be able to invest points into other stats which could give a damage or speed buff (I’m not completely sure about that) but that’s just a theory
@@kalamiahu2212 youd be wrong im afraid, saintsworn while it is slower allows mages to one cycle grip with no chain but now that mantra cooldown isnt an issue saintsworn could be the play
@PolarDaFrog one cycle grip is in vid, unless you mean 0 cycle also the majority of the speedrun is not chaser, but getting to him. 5-10 seconds faster on chaser is not worth 15 seconds of slower time.
@ramengod17 not going jetstriker doesn't cost you 15 seconds im the number 2 chaser speedrunner and I made this dudes build and the one he uses for the 1:40, you only use jetstriker dash a few times also I meant one cycle grip no chain yknow the thing he spent 15 seconds getting
flame sentinel. As soon as something targets the pots, even if it doesn't attack, it auto breaks. Lightning clones also work for this but Chaser targets them

saintsworn is lowkey pretty bad for speedrunning, this is arguably the theoretical limit (that I know of) for how good a build can be right now

What's breaking the pots instantly? I have never seen that tech before
It looks like it might be the Flame Sentinel
flame sentinel. As soon as something targets the pots, even if it doesn't attack, it auto breaks. Lightning clones also work for this but Chaser targets them
