- Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Brandi Glanville has reportedly accused Bravo’s Andy Cohen of sexual harassment, according to “Page Six.”
The bigger question is how did he get away with his sexually inappropriate talk show for so long?
It's a late night show where they drink cocktails and talk about trashy tv, never expected it to be appropriate.
Hopefully he’ll be stop soon enough lawsuits and I’m sure he’ll be out the door

I guess people who are bothered by it just turn the channel to any one of the other 48,000 shows available. I know sometimes pushing the button on the remote is a tough task. But I’ve found that with all the social media comment sections I type in really strengthens the same finger needed with the remote. I can also tell my remote what I want to watch in case im suffering with a finger cramp or some other horrible injury. Best of luck not watching tv you don’t like.

Have you seen a picture of Brandy lately? The alcohol has affected her skin on her face. It’s all puffed out. So has the Botox/filler and whatever else she has done on her face.
I did not recognize her in the picture I saw. She definitely needs the money. I’m sure one or both her boys are 18 and she’s not get anymore child support.

HE IS SO INAPPROPRIATE ALL OF THE TIME! Watching him when handsome, fit male bravo cast members are on his show is so uncomfortable. Talk about "me too!" I mean any one of the male guests on his show must be going home to their wives, partners, friends and/or significant others saying "that guy is a complete and utter letch!" And when he questions women about the handsome, fit males in their lives it is just cringe worthy. I'm surprised the guy has not already been sued for sexually harassing a long list of male bravo celebrities. He takes his "gayness" as a license to be crude and inappropriate with his "staff." Clearly his success has blinded him from realizing he has many times crossed the line.

I think Brandi's law suit against Bravo is giving Bravo a taste of their own medicine. Love or hate Brandi, she's honest and tells it like it is. It doesn't seem fair of Bravo to act like she sexually assaulted Caroline. Also not fair that Caroline sued Brandi. They were on a show, paid to act outrageously.
I think THIS is exactly what Brandi's lawsuit is all about. Carolyn Manzo is suing Brandi for sexual harassment, and to prove a point, Brandi in turn is suing Andy.

Andy's sexual preference is irrelevant ... he can still be guilty of sexual harassment. The term "sexual" is more than just a verb ... it also pertains to gender and/or power (over a person). For example, one girl working in an office who is treated negatively or disproportionately (because she's female) is considered "sexual harassment". Works the other way around too (if there is just one guy in an all girl environment).

I would agree with you but considering all of the allegations surrounding Brandi just with the Caroline Manzo situation alone and the fact that Brandi is now completely unemployable by Bravo in the future gives me pause to think that she is only doing this at a way to get back at Andy. If I had a million dollars I would bet it all that Brandi actually laughed and probably responded in a similar way when she first received it.

I’m not a huge Bethenny fan at all! Her over bearing, obnoxious, “maybe I do know it all” personality & the way she treated Carol was a big reason I stopped watching RHONY. BUT I do respect her business sense, work ethic and her hustle. She was baking cookies in her tiny apartment & hanging out samples at Costco, when nobody knew her name! She never stopped grinding and built a literal empire, as a single woman, without a rich husband, on her own! She had the HW’s platform, but so does every other person who’s ever been cast! You could argue the platform is a lot bigger now, than it was when she started her brand! It’s actually because of her success that Bravo now has a “Bethenny” clause in their contracts, for every cast member on every Bravo reality show. If they market, develop, or advertise a product or business on their show, Bravo gets compensation or a percentage. You rarely see an episode of Summer or Winter House that doesn’t look like an infomercial for Loverboy, or Sewing Down South on Southern Charm. They’re paying to have their product placement on those shows.

Why are you so defensive of a huge corporation over the workers who have little power to stand up to them? If several workers call out their employer for inappropriate conduct, normally we hear them out and see a pattern. It’s no different with Bravo and Andy. Brandi being a hyper sexual person doesn’t mean her employer should be sexual with her. It would be unacceptable in any other workplace situation.

I do think that there should be a stronger line between power and personal relationships with employees. Bravo's parent company should be enforcing their own rules regarding these management/employee relationships. As much as I like Andy, I don't think he should be both. It's too confusing and can lead to problems of abuse of power, favoritism and unstable working conditions.

I don't know what he sent - Should Andy know better in a person of power- absolutely. But the entire franchise is one big blurred line and often inappropriate and what the franchise lives for. Are you friends? Are you co-workers? Is he your boss, is he your friend? If you treat him like your friend one day .. giving and receiving sexual banter freely as she so often does - how does he know where to draw the line the next day? I'm not taking sides, but as a former HR Professional - It would be a nightmare to be an HR professional in that franchise!

I think Brandi set him up in terms of allowing inappropriate discussions etc then recording it.. She is retaliation because she's upset with Bravo because they encouraged her to be flirty with some of the female cast members and now she has a complaint that was filed against her by Caroline Manzo so she catches Andy with his pants down as revenge and Bethany is only too happy to chime in because she's trying to get at Bravo too... She had Nene for a while then Nene suddenly went quiet so now it's Brandi but this could hurt Andy so we'll have to wait to see how it goes
She has been so sexually open, constantly making sexual remarks about various people. She left the door open for people to respond and she does. Should Andy in his position been smarter? absolutely! But I think the entire franchise (all shows) is often sexually in your face - I can see where that line is blurry with content and friendships vs work relationships.

I think the whole world is getting too PC. Poor Andy's going to have all these lawsuits against him, that he's going to be unable to be his fun and yes sometimes inappropriate self. He is also intelligent and kind and giving. The one part is part of his personality, and it's a part that most of us really enjoy. We're sick of stuck-up people who take the fun out of everything. I think, like a lot of places of work, whether you're in a position of power or not, you sometimes develop outside friendships and relationships with people. My boss says inappropriate things to me all the time, but we also have a friendship outside of work. I wouldn't, this many years down the line of having a particular banter with him, then decide to use his power position against him to suit my own needs. I don't know if she wants money or attention, but I think it's a bunch of BS. Brandi has said more inappropriate things to people than anybody else, but now, all of a sudden, it's a problem for her. I never understood how Andy Cohen got all these big celebs on his talk show.
Very few people can handle power and money but there are those who are also very successful doing that and even those who made foolish mistakes and spent their lives afterward doing all to rectify those mistakes. These are all choices.
The Housewives shows were always considered somewhat trashy or dubbed "guilty pleasure" but not anything of a steady diet.
My first impression was that I questioned myself wondering if Andy was a "women hater" or did he really help the women who were in bad marriages or in financial troubles.
My opinion is not being able to stomach the booze and disgusting behaviors. I was a fan of 3 Housewives shows and then went down to 1 which I doubt I will watch again because I personally felt betrayed and misled. It seems there was editing on one housewife made to look one way when it was the opposite.
The show may be good for people as a temporary stepping stone to get your life on track but a career..you got to be kidding! Plus you are a target for anyone to make a fool of you and pretend to like you to get on the show too. So forget about relationships.
