@@TrendingControllersim only 500 hours in, what exactly do you mean by that? The bag being connected to main's bag timer? Isnt having options always better? Asking not to argue, purely to learn and get better.
That base created some fatal funnels for the attackers and that turret really covered them well. Grenade launchers might a good addition to the grenades and pvp rockets for those choke points.
Only problem with pvp rockets is it starts a mini war of pvp rocket suicide bombers
Problem with GLs is that you can't craft ammo for them, so it's not realistic to supply them in all your spawn locations around base. I've also found they can be finicky in terms of hit detection and damage when trying to splash people around obstacles, whereas HV rockets tend to get the job done more often.

I could not ever have imagined a pyramid base actually being defendable - let alone on this level. This wipe was great and a real inspiration!
The core can be virtually anything since he has funnel walls with peeks surrounding the pyramid itself for his defenses. He basically took the concept of a shoot floor and put it lower and surrounded his entire base perimeter with it. I'd say it's less ideal than his other base designs since he doesn't have the height advantage to shoot down on breachers easily and once they go deep it'd be a lot harder to defend and win at that point. But the other key element to why he wins is because he has beds all over his base with kits and smoke grenades to make it possible to do repairs during the raids. I defended 5 raid attempts with a basic 2x2 last wipe simply because we had beds with kits all over our base (including gate houses) so we could respawn quickly already geared up. Even if we trade kills, we still got them on bag timer first, which makes it possible to repair or. even raid their raid base.

Clans always get the most angry from losing too lol. The people that can't cope with losing end up joining large teams to make it basically impossible to lose.

Me too lol that's why if I do a big farm run I have strategically placed stashes to hide my ore until night then I run the loot home. Much safer
You just have to be more aggressive tbh. If a mini is flying at you, they're super vulnerable. Rather than run, just shoot them down and they'll either get scared and fly away, or die. Even if you only get them low HP, you're now initiating a gunfight at an advantage.

He kinda created the meta when it comes to raid defense. His strategy of overwhelming the breach with explosives and getting people on timer by using many peek angles, then smoking out the breach and repairing or taking kits is just perfection. Having that, plus many beds with kits all over the base means that even if they breach one spot, you can still spawn from another spot safely and you can come back to the fight nonstop with limited bag timers. Watching his videos has helped me immensely in defending. Had 5 raid attempts on my base last wipe and won all of them because of his strategies I used.

Bruh. I've never seen someone stack bodies like that, holy crap. I knew you broke them when the nakeds starting showing up, but then minutes later it was back to full kits and rockets again. MVP are those grenades and armored door hatches. I can't imagine what must have been going through the heads of those raiders other than "this guy is clearly AIT."
this is what professionnal rust player looks like. base is cheatcode, playing IQ is immense, knowladge and defence is best i have ever seen. Every video is like a lecture to others

Whats more impressive than the god tier base building and defense is tokyo's ability to remember each and every nook and corner of his maze like bases. Plus his ability to perceive sound and know excactly where the enemies are pumeling from, which door to open, where to smoke, grenade and which foundation or wall to upgrade or remake. And most importantly staying calm throughout the process.
This is real stress test. Didnt even know how many Rockets are really flying ... 😮 your a real solo legend. Love to see the gameplay all the time.
also, i have always wondered just how much loot the raiders bring you. would it be possible to do a quick loot spread after the raid defense, like to cap off the series by showing a few large boxes full of the gear sets/rockets/guns the raiders left behind?

In a lot of the raids, the raiders will get his vending machines and depot mid raid, he comes out on top in AKs but loses a bunch to the rats in the clan
I highly doubt he cares much about loot this late in the wipe. It's more about the rush of the raid.

Hey Aloneintokyo do you have a build video for the base that you'd typically build for a solo along with the compound you have with the peaks.
I would love to see a "raid defense competition". Teams enter, get a certain amount of time to build the base, and get points on how well they raid/defend. Prize pool + finalists get to raid Tokyo

@@3mk_syr From all of the crazy builds I've seen him make I'd think this would be a simple addition. Literally just imagining a second ring around the compound. I wasn't sure if he felt it'd further deter attackers or if it just wasn't a priority for him.

Very keen to know your thoughts on the turret nerf AIT. Seems like they play a big part in your defence, IMO its the wrong direction for FP to go.
I don't think he even exceeds the new limit with his bases anyway. But even if he does, he could just set them up in a series of layers on a circuit. So initially only outside turrets are on, but once some get destroyed and the raiders get inside the base, he can switch to his inner turrets on the circuit. Or it could probably be automated to switch using HBHF

Hey, Tokyo i've question, what u think about turret limit update? Imo this will make your solo life a lot harder in defendig base, than ever before, you can bypass this update by swithing off/on turrets but imo this update suck as hell and facepunch is making rust noob+ friendly, let us know what u think about this.
If they do it they should do it like per one team mate that joins your team the turret limit drops by 10 or smh that large zergs cant have 100p plus turrets

along with the compound you could try and do tunnels with the walls so you have more outside control making them also have to use more boom to get in. another thing i noticed was the towers you built were a little too exposed so maybe have alternating windows with reinforced glass windows in them so you can get a good look at where they are withiut getting shot too much
