I have been indoctrinated by those daygame.com guys from a few years ago and now I always say the same things in every cold approach. It sucks! So please go over how to give the girl you stop a special feeling. I know guessing her profession is a good way to start a conversation but I always use the same guesses and that turns me into a robot.
Ok look not every guy can be that creative and high energy all the time. You're asking guys to spend time thinking more carefully before they approach but the problem is that they might not have time. Maybe they can't think of anything interesting to open with but they can make it sound interesting in their delivery. Most guys would benefit from having a structure. I've always thought that Direct is not the only way to approach. A lot of girls wont respond to this. It's not that they're not attracted but it could be they need a guy to show his personality first.
Depends on where the guy is at, and everyone is different. Sure, some could can use some structure - and others (probably just as many or more) and help back because they are trying too hard to use some kind of structure that is inauthentic. As per showing your personality, sure. Just go over and find out what kind of connection is there. Why does it have to be a bigger deal than that? But I won't hide my intentions either.....
