    hey can i make different header for every language like i want to change menu title language to..& will it support language change for ACF Custom post types??

    First of all, thank you so much for the video; it was excellent. I have two points that I would appreciate some clarification on:
    1. Header and footer - It seems that switching between different languages doesn’t affect them. How can I set their language according to the selected language on the website?
    2. When I choose a different language (not the default one), it correctly displays the page in the relevant language, which is great. However, when I navigate to another page, it automatically switches back to the default language, even though I want to continue reading in the second language I selected. How can I configure it so that when a visitor selects a specific language, it remains consistent throughout their entire browsing session on the website, not just on the current page?
    Thank you very much.

      Hey! 🙂
      First of all thank you so much for your warm word and taking the time to write your comment on my video, I highly appreciate it! 🙏
      To answer your questions, I think there is more then just one solution but I'll try to help as much as I can from what you wrote.
      1. Header and Footer - Here, I must ask if you have setted up the menus on the back-end depending on the language?
      When you go to Appearance -> Menus and set up a different menu for each language.
      Then create a different template for the language that you need from the Templates in Elementor and when you are done, don't assign it a view condition on the website, just make sure that in the back-end (the WordPress editor, on the right or left sidebar) you see that the main Header of your website and the other language that you've created, are connected.
      2. I think if you'll do the first step that I have wrote, that would solve it.
      In case it didn't, comment again with the whole scene/ set up that you have setted up in Elementor and would be more than happy to help! 💫

      I agree, that is why I make sure not to bloat the websites I build with a Plugin for every Little thing.
      I make sure that I have a good hosting company that has a great Firewall on the server and
      I add Security Plugins to secure the website even more with 2FA.

    can you guide me, i have choosed danish language as default and there are two home pages, one for danish and other for english. when i click on danish flag, it take me to danish site but when i click on english flag, it take me english site but it only shows top menu of english version and not home page. when i click home tab of english version, then it take me to home page of english version. Any solution for it that english flag take me directly to home page ?

    • @ezwp4u
      @ezwp4u  12 дней назад

      Hey! 🙂
      It seems (if I have understood you correctly), that the Home page is not setted up in the English Version correctly on the back-end.
      If that is the case, then you would need to make sure (when you edit the Home page with the WordPress editor) that on the right sidebar, the Home pages are linked between them, inside the Polylang settings.
      You would need to see (inside the Polylang settings box) that the other language is displaying accordingly to the flag next to it, as well as the name of the page.
      I really hope I was able to help! 🙏
      If not, please don't hesitate to write another comment on the matter, that would explain a little more, the issue you are facing and I'll try to do my best to assist you with it. 💫

    Hey, just one question, is there an easy way to copy the design from the original language into the translated language?

    • @ezwp4u
      @ezwp4u  3 месяца назад

      Hey! 🙂
      For sure!
      As far as I know, you can open the inspector (while editing with Elementor) and then selecting all the containers on the page using the CTRL or COMMAND (if you are on Mac) together with the mouse.
      After you have selected all the containers click the left key on your mouse to open the options and that just copy and past the design onto the next page that you want.
      That should solve that ✌🏼
      Would love to hear if that helped in your case 🙏

      @@ezwp4u Hey - quick question. Am I right in thinking that Polylang provides the tools and framework etc for translated versions of one's website, but it doesn't actually do the translation work - meaning we'd have to translate everything ourselves (which is fine, just wanted to be sure I understand).

  • @dominmax
    @dominmax 4 месяца назад +1

    I'am afraid that translating images (e.g. alt) does not work. When you open an image there is a language switcher but when you edit one language it overwrites the other languages... :/

    How did you get your Translated French page to be also a front page? that tag of front page (2:17) doesn't appear on my translated page and the flag icon on my menu doesn't redirect to the new HOME page that i translated.

    • @ezwp4u
      @ezwp4u  3 месяца назад

      Hey! 🙂
      I see what you mean, did you went through the setup wizard of Polylang?
      If yes, then the other option is to configure the page from the Wordpress Editor through the sidebar.
      It terms of the Flags that does not appear in the pages table, I would check if they are hidden for any reason by going to the 'Screen Options' on the top left hand corner of the page (while you are still in the pages) and try to see if they are disabled.
      Would love to hear if that helped your case! 🙏

    Hi , i understand the process but in your tutorial, nothing was ever translated into French for real...all is still in English . How do you explain it ?

    • @ezwp4u
      @ezwp4u  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey! 🙂
      You are completely right.
      The reason for it, is that I currently don't know French and it was for Demo purposes.
      But the best part (in my opinion), is that you can translate it and edit it, the way you want
      in every language.
      I hope that answered your question. 💫

      Hey mate!
      I see what you mean, usually what I found to be the problem is some plugin that creates the problem.
      I know it is a very common answer but I would check that first.
      If that is not the problem, I would check if the cache plugin is enabled or interferes with Elementor for some reason and try to tweak or even better to deactivate it completely - I never activate the Cache Plugin when I am building websites, only when I am done building it I would activate it.
      Also, one more option you can try is to copy all the elements to a new Page/ Template and try to edit it there.
      Let me know if that helps!✌

    Thanks for your helpful tutorial. I have a question corncerning translations of Plugins:
    I am using Polylang free version. In the Polylang translation, the plugin "WP-RUclips Lyte" is not included with the consequence that German language is shown on English pages. It seems to be that Polylang free version does not support the plugin "WP-RUclips Lyte".
    Question: Does the Pro Version of Polylang support the translation? Or is there another way how I can translate the plugin "WP-RUclips Lyte"?

      To answer your question, I have just tried to install the plugin you mentioned the - WP-RUclips Lyte with and without the Polylang Pro (with the plugin that I have mentioned in this video TTfP) and I got 5 pages of translatable fields.
      Did you get the same?
      Have you tried to translate it only using the Loco Plugin?

    • @ezwp4u
      @ezwp4u  Месяц назад

      Hey! 🙂
      You're very welcome!
      Absolutely, first of all, make sure you have Polylang and Connect Polylang for Elementor on your website.
      After you have set up your site with Polylang, you simply go to the templates on your website and edit them.
      Make sure that the Primary Language Templates do display on your website - in the main language of your website - and the display condition is been activated for the template that you choose.
      In other words, that the Main Language of your website, has it's own templates and they do display on your website.
      After you've edited the template that you wanted, with Elementor, you would want to exit the template and head over to your saved templates.
      Once, you are there, you would see (just like in the Pages on your website) the Flags column appearing on the template that you were editing.
      Now, simply click on the Plus icon in the Flags column to add and edit the template in the language that you desire, name your template and publish or edit it in the new language that you've chosen. 🙂
      I hope I was able to explain it clearly - anyhow, I am planning to make a video on it on the channel, so stay tuned ✌🏼

      Hey! 🙂
      :I see what you are saying, I think (as most things in life) there are two ways to look at it.
      Yes, it might be frustrating to translate it by yourself but if to look at it from another perspective
      then, it gives you a lot of flexibility to change and edit the way YOU want.
      Which I think is awesome.
      Yes, you have to do a little bit of work, but the flexibility it gives you is just great!
      Again, it is my personal opinion on the matter.
      If you want, I would recommend you to use the WPML Plugin and purchase their credits but then
      you trade money for that extra translation.
      I really hope that helps.
