Thank You for the video. A couple of points to address on a future critique of the EK6 Evercross ... Folding the handlebars DOES NOT require a screw driver (even with large fingers), When the main latch is released, the snap leaver can be manipulated sideways to disengage the secondary safety mechanism. Same for the lower frame folding latch. Also the seat stem DOES NOT have to be removed to remove or install the battery. Simply squeeze the seat with the lever under the seat and the seat will pivot to allow the battery to clean easily. Thus you are not having to constantly readjust the height ride position. Also the midpoint suspension consists of the well padded seat, along with springs in the seat, along with the seat tube shock absorber spring mechanism. The large 4 inch wide tires also supply some dampening of the road depending on the tire pressure that is utilized. That coupled with the dual front fork suspension gives this eBike a superb ride (at any price point). Keep in mind too that this battery is NOT a 36 volt 10 amp hour battery, it is a 48 volt 15 amp hour heavy duty unit. Note that the rear rack, which is included, is welded solid to the frame with a substantial tubing size and not a bolt on flimsy rack as many other brands have (if they even include a rack at all). The tail light is also a brake light. Nice touch. Receiving the intelligent designed tool kit that is supplied plus an air pump and the combination cable lock is a further bonus. I have personally owned a number of folding eBikes that ranged from about $800 to $2400 Canadian each, over the last 9 years and NO OTHER bike of the 5 at any price offered the features of this unit. Excellent commentary. Think I agree with most everything you laid down. After I ordered it, I noticed the unit is made in China, and there have been some reports I've seen regarding possible unreliability... even a combustion risk. Have you had any issues yourself?
Like the previous poster, I just ordered one as well here in Canada, very much looking forward the delivery. Thank you very much for the thorough and honest review. I had owned a GoTrax EBE4 bike before; it was very well built and had some bells-and-whistles, but the battery was only 250W (it was my first ebike, so I did not know any better) and so it would completely stall on any sort of slight hill. Very frustrating. Like you, I'm not a small dude LOL so I shopped around for an ebike with at least a 750W motor... saw this puppy on Amazon in the white flavour, loved the look of it, and - it was $300 less expensive than what I paid for the GoTrax one year ago. Win-win. So thanks again sir - regards from Canada.
My parents bought two of them and they love it. The speedo was off a bit so I went to P18 (speed ratio) in the screen settings and decreased the value from 100 to 98 and now it's pretty damn accurate. You can unlock it and go faster. It was going 31 km/h (19 MPH) max and after I unlocked it we can go as fast as 39 km/h. (24 MPH)
I’m just ordered one. Glad to hear they’re decent. I Was a bit worried because they’re almost half the price of very similar bikes.
I love little ebikes. 20 mph is fine for just tooling around town and bike paths. I have a new folding step through budget ebike coming next week.
Or are such bicycles supplied for the American market with a 750 watt motor???

Hello, I live in Germany and I want to buy such a bike.. Here in Amazon there is such a bike with a 250 watt motor and a maximum speed of 25 km/h, not 750..
Great job! Folding ebikes too slow for me...I have a Fabulous Ebikes Road Warrior AWD--can pedal 42 mph and throttle 39 mph and I have a GOAT POWER BIKE..Motor Goat V3...and I have had that 49.7 mph (captured on the Relive App).....great review.

You do not need a screwdriver!!! Just drop the latch down, then push on the latch.
