Some of us are slaves, and others are free. But God's Spirit baptized each of us and made us part of the body of Christ. Now we each drink from that same Spirit 🕊️✝️❤️ As you know, the human body is not made up of only one part, but of many parts 🕊️✝️❤️ Suppose a foot says, "I'm not a hand, so I'm not part of the body!" Would that mean it's no longer part of the body? 🕊️✝️❤️ And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body? 🕊️✝️❤️ If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything? 🕊️✝️❤️ But now as things really are, God has placed and arranged the parts in the body, each one of them, just as He willed and saw fit with the best balance of function 🕊️✝️❤️ How could it be a body if it only had one part? 🕊️✝️❤️ Yes, there are many parts, but only one body 🕊️✝️❤️ So then, the eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" Nor can the head say to the feet, "Well, I don't need you 🕊️✝️❤️ In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary 🕊️✝️❤️ And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness 🕊️✝️❤️ but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it 🕊️✝️❤️ God's purpose was that the body should not be divided but rather that all of its parts should feel the same concern for each other 🕊️✝️❤️ If one part of our body hurts, we hurt all over. If one part of our body is honored, the whole body will be happy 🕊️✝️❤️
