Tolkien’s medieval sources: a look at some Old English and Old Norse influences in Tolkien’s work

This video gives a glimpse of some of the Old English and Old Norse sources that Tolkien drew from to write some of the best fantasy of all time. Some of the works mentioned are The Silmarillion, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Beowulf, The Elder (Poetic) Edda, The Younger (Prose) Edda, and the Old English poems “Christ” and “The Wanderer.”
