This is one of the best videos on this channel. Death Grips are incredible. I should have gone back sooner, but if I had, the video wouldn't be this good. Shout out the man JGE on the incredible edit.

idk if this is a hot take but I actually prefer this album over the money store. both amazing though
Im a huge DG fan and I prefer most death grips albums to the money store at this point tbh
I think they’re both amazing… but I love exmilitary more than both tbh. So sad it’s not on Apple Music.
@Jonald Grump i feel like he would like it
tell your dad to listen to bp
This is like The money store but if you mix it with Jenny death
They used Bubbles Buried in This Jungle in Westworld Season 3. Probably the best use for Death Grips I’ve ever seen in film.
I've Seen Footage was in the film Booksmart too. I love hearing DG in mainstream media
No Love in Bojack Horseman and Hot Head in Atlanta too
The powers that B is my personal favorite. The björk voice samples are insane on the first half
Each album has a different vibe. Sometimes I'm known for it, other times I keep it On GP
@@gickygackers On GP is arguably one of the greatest songs if all time. I love the powers that b so much
@@dez-m if you'll believe RUclips videos or Anthony fantsno
Shout out On GP
@@gickygackerswhy do you including fantano here, On Gp unarguably one of the greatest tracks of all time
You would absolutely love Death Grips - Jenny Death (Disc 2 of The Powers that B). Since you were a metal head once, it’s very heavy hard rock, right up your alley. The only rule of listening to Jenny Death the first time is that you HAVE to read along the lyrics on your first listen of ON GP, track 9 of the record.
I didn't "get" Death Grips until I heard On GP. It immediately resonated with me and the lyrics perfectly painted where I was at during that time, having just nosedived out of rehab. I'm glad it was one of the first songs I heard from them, I might never have gotten into their music otherwise.
BP is such a great album. Think it’s the DG album I listen to the most these days
It’s like mixing the powers that b and the money store in HD quality a 10/10 IMO
Ay Louis, im a long time viewer, October is already looking pretty good for crypto.
It's easily the most replayable out of their albums, very catchy hooks and such
Bottomless pit is one of my top DG songs for sure
This album is so catchy. Especially Spikes, the instrumental is so addicting 💀
Bottomless Pit is far and away my favorite Death Grips album. It just perfectly balances the sonic chaos and aggression with traditional song structure and sticky hooks. This is their most hip-hop album to me, and I do believe it'll go down as a modern classic.
It's also the best album to introduce people to Death Grips and their absurd genius.
Exmilitary is surely their most hip-hop album no? I'd say this album draws on the rock aspects of Jenny Death quite a bit.
I would say it’s better to introduce people to death grips by showing Money Store and then this
How the fuck is this their most hip hop album
Are you fucking insane
Yeah they are not making it pass the first track 😭
@@jesusa.7064agreed. Exmilitary is their best work by far tho and I love this album
My favourite death grips album. It’s somehow their most abrasive and most catchy record at the same time. Love the video effects btw!
I think most abrasive goes to the powers that b.
Hot Head is the most death grips sounding song ever lol
Hot Head is what people who don’t listen to Death Grips think Death Grips sounds like.
i think full moon is. buts its definitely up there.
God I love this album. Hot Head is a masterpiece of a song now I've got over how much of a meme of a song I originally thought it was
I agree such an amazing song
As a writer, I feel you'd really dig a deep dive into their lyrics at some point. Really beautiful stuff most times
Yes. Yes. I hope you do The Powers That B next. IMHO it's their best one.
I second this
I have been waiting for this! My favourite album by them
i like how jon barely has to talk in his videos its just pure reactions. no bullshit
We should get some clipping reactions for the spooky season. There Existed An Addiction to Blood and Visions of Bodies Being Burned are PERFECT for this coming season. Amazing albums.
Favorite Death Grips album and I love them all like they were my children.
SUCH a good album!! Definitely try more clipping. Their newest record would definitely blow you away
hey jon you should react to their double album ‘the powers that b’, i think you’d like it’s use of noise rock since you’re a metalhead!
@Spokesman of MJ YESSSSSSS
This one id say they implement all elements of their sound into one cohesively chaotic and out of control album. Little to no breathing room here and I love the energy of the whole thing. You may want to go in order from No Love Deel Web (more electronic and hip-hop oriented, less analog drums but still incredibly heavy) and then The Powers That B (the one before BP, a dual album that has two very different sides but probably their most varied in terms of sound). I think you’d love both but hoping to see more of them on the channel!
Bruh it would be amazing if you reacted to Exmilitary on this channel, I know it has been a long while since you did one back on metalhead reacts, but it's honestly one of if not their best album to date
Your pacing and production value have grown so much. These reactions are honestly the highest quality you’ll find at this point. Love that you’ve started jumping straight into the music!
long have we waited! one of my fav death grips projects
dude I love how you just jumped into the album within the first 10 seconds of the video, definitely checking out more reactions from you it's also fun to find other new music I haven't heard before through watching reactions
I love how serene and beautiful MC Rides voice is
This album is banger after banger and absolutely relentless, it goes without saying it's one of their best albums, if not their best.
My personal favorite album of theirs. Banger after banger!
I think some of MC Rides best actual rapping comes from from this album, with songs like Spikes, Houdini, and 3 bedrooms
Agreed
Its their best work imo. The money store has the most iconic songs but bottomless pit is just banger after banger, its insane 🔥
The editing is on the level
*hears the drop in Ring a Bell*
"I think I like this more than the Money Store"
My feelings exactly
This album is underrated as fuck. I dare any band to make something as catchy as Three Bedrooms in a Good Neighborhood. They can’t
YES PKEASE JOHN KEEP THE DG GOING PLEASE WE LOVE IT AND YOU
😂😂😂😂 instant classic. Please do Powers that B (both sides) or Steroids next.
My favorite Death Grips album too many slaps
I love this album. It’s their best and the best hip-hop album for me
There's a blue Monday x Bubbles Barried in this Jungle that swaps the vocals and instruments of both songs that recontextualizes it in a cool dark way.
Death Grips SZN!!! LET'S GOOO
nice profile picture lmao
I sent the song Bottomless Pit to my GF when we started talking to each other. Been together 5 years lmao
Spikes and Warping are a great pairing of tracks.
Letsss goooo!! One of my favorite DG albums
This was so FUN, we need more DG!!
Hope we get through the whole discog eventually Jon. Keep it up! Best reactor in the game by a mile
Best DG album and it's in my top 5 all time. I've worn this album out for about two years and it still makes me want to run through walls.
Make sure to include a seizure warning at the beginning ⚠️🔥
LET'S FUCKING GO!
Best DG album hands down.
U gotta react to The Powers That B. The first half is very very challenging to wrap your head around, has some of their strangest music. The second half is more conventional Death Grips with heavy metal influence, with some tracks being just straight up metal tracks that are fun to headband to
u gotta do next no love deep web or the powers that b
Did not expect this one, great reaction to an awesome album
Bottomles Pitt is a hell of a record, it's accesible for a DG album, but it's bonkers, feels like a punch in the face, and the hooks.. 👌
3:28 i genuinely had that same thought moments prior. kindred spirit
I relistened yesterday and it is so nuts
So happy we’re back with dg
jon thank you for this rawness and for tackling this challenging album on a monday. this album is definitely better than TMS. looking forward to more, take your time!
Hi Jon, huge fan of the channel!
I have some album recommendations for you:
MF DOOM - Born Like This
MF DOOM & Dangermouse - The Mouse and the Mask
Billy Woods & Kenny Segal - Hiding Places
(You seemed to really like Madvillainy and MM...FOOD so I think you'd like those DOOM albums. Billy Woods reminds me of DOOM in a way and you'd probably like him too.)
Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
(Danny has a really unique vocal delivery and has great flows and lyrics.)
Playboi Carti - Playboi Carti
(This is my least favourite Carti album but you liked Whole Lotta Red and Die Lit.)
Death Grips - Exmilitary
Death Grips - The Powers That B
(The Powers That B is my personal favourite album of all time. The first disc is industrial hip hop but the second disc is almost rock with some punk elements to it too.)
I hope you enjoy :)
Hiding Places for sure. BRASS by Billy Woods and Moor Mother, and Guns by Quelle Chris
@@ALIENjoy great picks
If you haven't already, you should listen to Atrocity Exhibition by Danny Brown, insane album
Haha what a reaction. I've seen them live in Leeds, believe me you almost go deaf and trampled over in the crowd. React to The Powers That B, On GP is personal favourite on there
Someones prolly already said this but this album is pretty much them trying to make the money store again but to fit there newer music better, its like a progression.
i’m so glad you did this, no love has gotta be next
Man, I'd love another Death Grips reaction about now
shoutout the editing in this one yo
Can we expect a return to clipping. soon pls 🤞 Their discography is immaculate and somehow they just keep getting better
9:35
accurate depiction of everyone's reaction at their first time hearing ring a bell
We need a reaction for every album now jon! Death Grips szn
Also we need clipping. Reactions
HE FINALLY DID IT
Ring a Bell is just such a perfect culmination of being somewhat more approachable than most of their work, but still having that perfect chaos DG has mastered.
React to Clipping. Halloween theme albums for October they are amazing. Thanks Prophet.
There Existed An Addiction To Blood
Visions Of Bodies Being Burned
an oasis in a dry desert of no dg content
This is my favourite dg album
you’re gonna love tptb man
Ring A Bell is hands down my favorite DG song
More Death Grips!
Hot Head is such a mind fuck I love it
maybe my favorite 2-song run at the start of any album. i mean the whole thing is great but FUCK
death grips best album imo
more death grips!
You gotta do powers that b
The editing is succulent on this one Jon, you outdid yourself
11:33 We all had that reaction
I listened to this album for the first time in full while cutting the grass. Perfect experience
I love your videos and I love Death Grips! I really wanna see your reaction to Grimes. You should check out her Art Angels and Miss Anthropocene albums :)
I legit forgot about this album, it goes wild.
how could you
@@n1ck140 I mean, it left my mental awareness horizon, like there's so much other cool stuff going on that is more present in the mind. Haven't thought about this album in years it feels like.
Best death grips album hands down.
Great video Jon can’t wait to see more death grips reactions
Jon sipping tea while listening to death grips is not going to help you calm down trust me.
Listen to the crouching tiger hidden gabber ep
I would love to see you do a reaction to Ni***s on the Moon, or all of the Powers that B. Easily my favorite production on any DG record.
Warping def one my all time favorites
I wish I could listen to Spikes for the first time again
YES DO MORE DEATH GRIPS
I think I love this editing
best video to watch at 12 am with max brightness
Exmilitary still gotta be my favorite
This is my fav DG album and in my top 30 fav albums oat
I've hung on waiting in silence for you to dip back in lmao
Great vid Jon, would love to see you react to Exmilitary next! It's their best imo but bear in mind it's not on streaming services.
i might be alone in this but i think you should react to The Black Parade lmao
IM ALL UP IN MY GLORYHOLE S-O NO NO NO NOOO
keep the death grips content coming bro 👍🏻👍🏻
cannot wait to see JD reaction to The powers that b
that ‘ring a bell’ reaction >>>>
