      @@ThomFoolery1 here are the lyrics:
With the legendary black long hair disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower will soon disappear fruitlessly.
[Headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang!
      Bang, bang, ba, bang!]
Now the time has come. I no longer hesitate.
I hold tightly the discount railway tickets.
To the east, to the west, to the south, to the north,
today too I rush to the very front of the stage center.
On the left side, [Come on!] on the right side, [Come on!]
      standing up still, leaning back,
jumping toward the stage, [And then!] leaning over the fence, [And then!]
rolling over the mob, [And then!] and then all deeply headbanging.
This special night of my fifteen, I'll never forget.
All the crybabies, get out of here!
With the legendary black long hair disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower will soon disappear fruitlessly.
It'll never come back again and it's so short period.
I etch in my heart this special night of my fifteen.
I jump lightly and dance in the air.
      Headbanger!
[[Headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang!]]
      [Head, head, head, head]
This special night of my fifteen, I'll never forget.
All the crybabies, from here dis-ap-pear!
This special night of my fifteen, I'll never forget.
All that disturb us, right now get out of here!
With the legendary black long hair disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower will soon disappear fruitlessly.
It'll never come back again and it's so short period.

Great reaction, great facial expressions. Live BABYMETAL is best BABYMETAL every time. Legend 1999 was in June 2013 celebrating Yui's and Moa's 14th birthdays, Legend 1997 was the day after Su's 16th birthday in December 2013.
'Headbanger' was one song I really needed to see live for myself - they switch it up every time, so the smoke cannons may be replaced with an extended call and response in another show, they may not have the gong at the end - but when they do it is always special (the gong is another tribute to X Japan drummer Yoshiki who would end some shows in a state of almost collapse and banging a gong).
I finally got the see it live at Hammersmith in February ... and I was absolutely not disappointed. Getting to shout "Ki-e-ro" with everybody right on cue too - what's not to love.
So in the live here you can see how Yui and Moa lead the crowd too. Su is in control but when Yui and Moa jump so does the whole arena, when they chant "Hedoban Hedoban" the crowd sings along with them.

Babymetal live shows have to be some of the best out there. I've seen all the big metal bands live since the mid 80's, and the energy level Babymetal has rivals that of any of them. The early concerts like this one had an almost story-like theme to them. There were even animated shorts that they played at the concerts that went along with different sections.
This was the second to last song of the concert. The next song was a ballad that Su sung alone, and I really recommend you check that out. The song is Akatsuki (unfinished version) where the only music is some piano and strings, but the performance that Su puts on is beautiful. It tells the story of a warrior, Su, who had battled the big power idols, and was now near the end of her life, but realized that no matter what happened to her, some love would survive. The last song they performed that night, Babymetal Death, may be the heaviest closer to a show ever. I won't spoil it, but it needs to be seen while having a bit of context to what came before it.
The only copies of Akatsuki unfinished on RUclips are garbage, in that the audio and video are out of sync, which ruins the performance, so I'll leave you this link to a good copy of it - www.dailymotion.com/video/x7vua37 It includes the animated intro, and has English Subtitles. That version of the song was only performed once or twice, and not for many years.
Here is also a link to Babymetal Death as well - ruclips.net/video/jRc9dbgiBPI/видео.html

Man, you looked like you got tired from watching alone, which... I can definitely understand. They make everyone seem old and out of shape with their performance, because this was already an hour into the show and part of their encore. I really don't know how you can have as much energy as these girls, regardless of the age.
The Japanese crowd makes it look like it's 30,000 people in the audience, even though it was "only" around 7,500 and their biggest concert to this date in Dec 2013. That's something I love about Japanese Metal and Rock fans, they're in it 120% 100% of the time.
I agree the production is super high quality, but this was only their first show as an independent act. In other words, it really wasn't that high considering BABYMETAL over the years and Japanese standards in general. You could watch a performance from the following pro-shot concerts at Budokan in 2014 (two shows on back-to-back nights). Maybe Catch Me If You Can with Band Intro ruclips.net/video/ng8U_j0gpLI/видео.html or a Su-metal solo (without Moa & Yui, who have their own songs without Su), Akatsuki ruclips.net/video/g2372C5PJLM/видео.html or Rondo of Nightmare with instrumental intro Mischief of Gods ruclips.net/video/8WBDiLMNZcE/видео.html

That's one of the best part of every BABYMETAL Live Performances. The whole crowd is a part of them. Watching your BM reaction videos proved my theory, that it's impossible to watch BABYMETAL perform without smiling the whole time.
However, there is one of their lives that you must not watch if you're listening to a certain song for the first time. That is from their Glastonbury 2019 performance because the audio engineer who mixed the audio really sucks. The mics were way too low that you can barely hear Moa singing. One of the mics for the drum set was not working. It's mainly focused on the treble that I cant feel the heaviness of the bass. One more bad thing about it is the ffin' dead crowd who can't realize how powerful their stage presence is. But don't get me wrong, BABYMETAL and Kami Band still done their parts flawlessly. Its just the sound engineer who did the bad job. I would not recommend this if you're gonna listen to a certain song for the first time but I guess it won't hurt to react to it after you heard an another version. Why? Because although the sound sucks, it had a few beautiful shots from our Queen Su❤. And the way the wind blows through her hair as she smiles, ackkkk I can't stop admiring her! Eh? Did I just showed my fanboy side? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA nevermind.
So for my suggestion, can you do their song "Akatsuki" Live at Budokan Black Night? Its one of Su's solo so don't be confused if you didn't see Yui and Moa. In the other hand, the two also have songs that they perform without Su. They perform these songs to give each others a break from going full throttle right from the start.
    Catch you at the foxhole!

Excellent! As mentioned in prior comments, it's no secret BABYMETAL admires Metallica. Early on, & possibly still, Su was/is goofy, nerdy, even bookish when not inhabiting the Su-metal persona we see onstage. However, she recognized early on the tone of the show starts with her, & has attributed her ability to embrace her alternate metal goddess self by watching members of Metallica, who were so sweet & kind to BABYMETAL backstage at festivals, then transform themselves into gods of metal onstage. Looking forward to your next BABYMETAL reaction!

Great Reaction 👍🏻 Now it’s time for “BABYMETAL Death” from the same concert.
A little background for you: In Japanese, if you say “I am Moametal” you say “Moametal Desu” the Desu when said sounds like Diss. In the context it sounds to English speaking ears like they are saying Moametal Death! Hence, it’s all a very clever play on words.

Excellent reaction and I don't know what equipment you use but your videos (of you and the performance) were crystal clear, visually and aurally. Subscribed to watch your journey down the Fox Hole (AKA the Babymetal Universe)! I've been enjoying live Metal performances since I first saw Sabbath live in 1976 and, this Feb, I got to see Babymetal live in my home town of Cardiff and, in that 44 years of Metalling, they are the most original and refreshing live act and new Metal genre (Kawaii Metal/ Cute Metal) I've seen in decades, maybe since Slipknot. They shine brightest live so here's a few more epic performance links for you to react to. PS The 'marionette' pose is, like every single dance move, hand gesture and shape they make in their tightAF choreography, an interpretation of the song lyrics being sung at that moment and here they are imitating the fans leaning over the barriers, exhausted after their headbanging. OK, some links to even more exciting Babymetal epic live performances! From this same concert, the finale (yes, that's right, Headbanger wasn't even the finale!), B-A-B-Y-M-E-T-A-L Death, one of the most MetalAF performances ever - and I mean from any Metal band ever - ruclips.net/video/jRc9dbgiBPI/видео.html . Then there's the best Metal song ever about playing Hide and Seek, Catch Me If You Can, and this version not only has an intro where both guitarists, the bassist and the drummer all get a solo but has English subtitles too, so you can sing along! Oh, and the choreo is incredible: ruclips.net/video/ng8U_j0gpLI/видео.html . Finally, there's the band's first appearance at a UK Metal festival, Sonisphere, where the girls and the amazing Kami Band (God Band, justly named) on their first festival appearance outside Japan, and with the girls aged just 15 and 16, came out on stage to face 65,000 Metal heads who had mostly never heard of them and finished with the best Metal song ever about stopping bullying, Ijime, Dame, Zettai (just call it IDZ when you react to it, as most people do!): ruclips.net/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/видео.html .

I thought you'd like that - I left some comments for you in one of your previous NW reactions and tbh , Babymetal and Nightwish have kept me sane in dealing with this pandemic over the past 9 months - but also people like your good self reacting to songs that I (we) know so well. Brings me a little joy knowing the reaction it's going to have on you and others. Luckily, the last concert I went to was Babymetal at Hammersmith in February and it was such a shot in the arm for everyone - I haven't heard that high level of excitement and anticipation in the air since the 80's when I was seeing bands like Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Ozzy, Scorpions and the list goes on! They were breathtakingly good. I would point you towards a number of Su Metal solo numbers, one of which showcases the Kami Band's talents, Rondo of Nightmare, with Mischief of Gods intro and 'Akatsuki' which has a wonderful duo guitar solo in it. Maybe to show their diversity (which you rightly touched upon) I would recommend going to their latest album and react to 'PAPAYA', 'SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI', ' BxMxC'. Also 'The One' is a song they wrote for the fans - the guitar parts alone are sublime - pretty emotional too. Could go on but I know when it's time to shut up 😄. Keep em coming - great job!

Same goes for me - seeing them in Feb in Cardiff and then keeping me sane through all this - a Babymetal song a day keeps the blues away, for sure. Hey David! Thanks so much mate for this great comment! That sounds absolutely amazing. I truly hope to have the chance to see them someday.
Great to hear that these videos haha brought some positivity for you. Honestly, the feeling is mutual. Making these videos, discovering these bands and sharing the joy of them with everyone is making 2020 bearable.
Thanks for the suggestions and kind words. Looking forward to going further down the Foxhole! 😀🤘

I loved your reaction video !!
I agree with much of what you say in the middle of the video, some might think that they put together elements that "in theory" should not work, but they work, and it isn't so much for the elements, in my opinion it's because they are excellent in everything they do, the Kami band are really great musicians, the girls are extraordinary in their performance and energy that they give in the shows.
Both sides taking off complexes and give everything to the fans, that's why it works, besides that their compositions are very, very good xDD it's amazing, that's why Babymetal become by far in one of my favorite bands of all time.
    Greetings from Mexico! /o/

So, you asked how she sings and dances at the same time. Well, in an interview once she said she actually practices singing through their concerts while running on a treadmill as a way to keep her endurance up and practice singing while in motion like that at the same time. The work these girls put into their performances is absolutely insane.
You’ve got so many good songs left to check out too! Notable ones include:
    - Gimme Chocolate (Official)
    - Karate (Official or Live)
    - Rondo of Nightmare (with Intro)
    - Ijime, Dame, Zettai (Live, Sonisphere 2014)
    - Death (Live, Legend 1997)
I could go on and on but those are the big ones.

Watching live performances is definitely a good choice! "Road to Resistance" will show you some proper crowd interaction (and insane stage presence from the girls). "Rondo of Nightmare" is a great solo from Su (although the odd time signature does throw some people off, I've noticed), and if you watch it with the "Mischief of Metal Gods" intro, you will get a solo from each of the band members as well. And for a proper show, maybe take a look at "Babymetal Death" from Legend 1997. Or even better, see if you can find "In the Name of" from their Legend S concert. It's a more recent track, and there are not many reactions to it on RUclips.

This is a perfect example of why you have on record, seasoned old school rockers, weaned on Sabbath, Priest etc, have seen the likes of Iron maiden live gigs and other ott stage shows, maintain the BabyMetal, gig they attended is the best ever. If there was a use for a time machine, stuff going back to kill Hitler, I would use it to go to every Japanese BabyMetal show. :-) If you go down the fox hole you will understand that the time machine will be made of chewing gum and be mint flavoured!

but but.. they aren't metal......yeah right. Really enjoyed your reaction. Haven't read the other comments yet so might be repeating this but the official music video is an awesome to watch too - it is more covering what the song is actually about. If you can ever get to a show go no matter what it costs. Su's singing is on point every time and the choreo is exhausting even just to watch. Seen them twice in small venues up close (like 3-4 meters) and their audience connection is bar none the best I have seen in concerts in my 66 years. Nothing like Yui, Su or omg Moa looking right at you and smiling. They have been singing and dancing (at the same time) for years (ref. Sakura Gakuin, Karen Girls). Very very fit and so they sometimes sweat but never are out of breath and rarely off tone. (RIP Mikio lead guitarist at 5:55)
