I mean, it's a nice unit as a trailing engine, but no ditch lights, no cab interior (even if it is a basic setup molding), it's pretty much either a filler or a no-go for my taste! Good for beginners; great for a serious kitbashing project!
on the newer ones they come with ditch lights so i'm happy they made that improvement, overall i think as a beginner locomotive it's a pretty solid locomotive especially for a 130 bucks. i'm going to use this as a filler till i get a scaletrains or genesis model and then it'll get moved towards being a trailing. i think it has potential for a kitbash just for how much room there is in the shell.
