Do you know the stories behind each dance? It would be nice to have some context for historical purposes. Thanks for doing this, filming it and sharing it with us. 👍👍👍👍👍

I would have to ask my wife for better details of the dance. She's spent a lifetime learning these things and when we posted this we weren't very good at sharing basic information or stories. It's amazing how far we've come. I'll try to remember to get back to you. 🙏

Some dances still carry the meaning behind them. Some may never be forgotten, no matter how many generations they continue to be handed down. But many are just the remnants of old songs sung by old souls long ago that are just echoing through us today. We will never know what some of them were composed for, but each one resonates within us and we feel it when the drums beat. Thank you for asking, I miss performing for tourists during the summers!
