If these are just the isolated vocal tracks, then there's a lot I, and probably lots of other Ethel fans, haven't picked up from listening to PD solely through streaming where a lot of bandwidth is not reproduced from the original...that bass humming that drops at 01:57 for instance, as well as a lot of little ASMR bits. I am beginning to think her production skills have been underrated as just 'competent' rather than sophisticated and subtle. And her vocal arrangements are inspired with little quirks and jumps.
I love how that low humming throughout the song sort of mirrors the groans heard later in ptolemaea, must be part of the way she so cleverly foreshadowed it in this song in addition to the flies. Thank you so much for sharing these, they truly deepen my appreciation for ethel's music!

She always does such an incredible job with her vocals. Finally hearing every song acapella has me in tears. It’s beautiful.
5:10 The way she bends her vocal on the “down” on the final chorus will never fail to give me chills
When the bass unison comes in???? Full body chills
The way her vocals mimic the guitar with the reverb and echo at 4:45 is so wow
this is definitely my favorite acapella from her. i'd love it if she performed this without any kind of instrumental. it'd be magical
4:54 is the best part omg
4:54 THIS IS WHAT U HEAR WHEN U ENTER HEAVEN JUSQ

01:57 she is a lot influenced by Lorn music
3:35 please someone tell me that i'm not the only one that hears and notification in the background after hayden says "horse"
