I got teary watching this trailer! I've always found it hard to choose a " favorite" S&S show. But Esther blew me away - I saw it 2X! *Then came David.* From the joyous, delightful beginning through to the end - David brought the Psalms to life in an exceptional, inspirational way! *The soundtrack is awesome.* Please, do *not* miss David! So many gems in the story of King David but the biggest lesson I got from him is humanity. At the end of the day God chooses us not because of who we are, but because of who He is and what He desires to achieve in and through us. Imperfection and flaw is very much apart of who we are as human beings but when we surrender ourselves to God He is able to utilize those imperfections to the glory and honor of His Holy name❤️
The best musical drama ever. David was never my favorite character but after this drama I catch David’s passionate heart for God. No wonder God calls David, a man after God’s own heart ❤️

Sight and Sound theater has the most amazing shows. They do an awesome job. I’ve loved every one I’ve seen, and I can’t wait to see the David one next year. I go to Branson to watch them, and this one is coming next year. They’re all so wonderful.
Honestly the whole musical and soundtrack deserves an award! Amazing musicality, actors and voices top notch, the stage, production… just everything, blows every broadway or anything out of the park.
An Unexpected Cinematic Masterpiece in a Theater Production We've seen Sight and Sound's Ruth (2007) and Moses (2018), which were good but no more than 6/10 in my book. However, David surpasses all expectations. This recording feels more like a movie than a play, with breathtaking 180-degree stages, stunning projections, and seamless transitions between live action and video backgrounds. The lighting is the best I've seen, perfectly blending the sets and screen. The music is outstanding, from powerful choirs to memorable solos like Samuel's song. Each character's recurring theme adds depth, and the worship moments resonate deeply. The narrative is fast-paced, covering lesser-known stories like David's time at the house of the prophets and his battles while on the run from Saul. Everyone involved brought their A-game-acting, singing, writing, directing, costume, and stage design are all top-notch. This production is biblically accurate and theologically rich, making the story of David come alive. My whole family, including our 3-year-old, loved it so much that we watched it twice in three days. Imagine watching it live. We will definitely be there in 2025

After this quick Devotional about the psalms, I slowly began to understand why David's was named the man after God's own heart, and even why Christ was called son of David. There's lot more to know about the man, than just his sin or his victory over goliath.
This is the most phenomenal Bible story our family has ever witnessed in stage! I bought a subscription to the app and we have literally watched David every single day. We pulled the music up on iTunes and it’s always being played in our midst. We absolutely love this show and all of the music! It’s so God honoring and powerful. I cried like a baby watching it for the first time and it still overwhelms me. This show is so anointed! And we love Shane as David. He portrays this character with excellence and we love his voice. It’s just perfect! Please, can someone tell me if Shane will once again be playing David in March 2025?!

Got a bit teary eyed with this trailer - they nailed it and it is totally as good as it looks. Saw it live in Lancaster when it premiered. Been seeing Sight & Sound shows for just over 20 years and I have to say this one is my favorite with Daniel right beside it. So many gems in the story of King David but the biggest lesson I got from him is humanity. At the end of the day God chooses us not because of who we are, but because of who He is and what He desires to achieve in and through us. Imperfection and flaw is very much apart of who we are as human beings but when we surrender ourselves to God He is able to utilize those imperfections to the glory and honor of His Holy name❤️

Honestly the whole musical and soundtrack deserves an award! Amazing musicality, actors and voices top notch, the stage, production… just everything, blows every broadway or anything out of the park.
An Unexpected Cinematic Masterpiece in a Theater Production
We've seen Sight and Sound's Ruth (2007) and Moses (2018), which were good but no more than 6/10 in my book. However, David surpasses all expectations. This recording feels more like a movie than a play, with breathtaking 180-degree stages, stunning projections, and seamless transitions between live action and video backgrounds. The lighting is the best I've seen, perfectly blending the sets and screen.
The music is outstanding, from powerful choirs to memorable solos like Samuel's song. Each character's recurring theme adds depth, and the worship moments resonate deeply. The narrative is fast-paced, covering lesser-known stories like David's time at the house of the prophets and his battles while on the run from Saul.
Everyone involved brought their A-game-acting, singing, writing, directing, costume, and stage design are all top-notch. This production is biblically accurate and theologically rich, making the story of David come alive. My whole family, including our 3-year-old, loved it so much that we watched it twice in three days.
Imagine watching it live. We will definitely be there in 2025

After this quick Devotional about the psalms, I slowly began to understand why David's was named the man after God's own heart, and even why Christ was called son of David. There's lot more to know about the man, than just his sin or his victory over goliath.
This is the most phenomenal Bible story our family has ever witnessed in stage! I bought a subscription to the app and we have literally watched David every single day. We pulled the music up on iTunes and it’s always being played in our midst. We absolutely love this show and all of the music! It’s so God honoring and powerful. I cried like a baby watching it for the first time and it still overwhelms me. This show is so anointed! And we love Shane as David. He portrays this character with excellence and we love his voice. When Jesus came He spread the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven, and fulfilled the work of redemption by crucifixion. The coming of Jesus the Age of Law and ushered in the Age of Grace. The coming of God incarnate in the last days brought an end to the Age of Grace. He came primarily to speak His words, to use the words to make man perfect, to enlighten and enlighten man, and to remove the place of the obscure God within the heart of man. He did not come to heal, or cast out demons, or to perform miracles, and He did not come to spread the gospel of repentance, or grant man redemption. The practical God came to show that He is real.)

In the LAST DAYS, GOD INCARNATE CAME to EARTH MAINLY to SHARE His WORDS. When JESUS came He SPREADED the GOSPEL of the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, and FULFILLED the WORK of REDEMPTION through CRUCIFIXION. He ENDED the AGE OF LAW, and BROUGHT ALL the OLD THINGS to NOTHING. The COMING of JESUS ENDED the AGE OF LAW and USED the AGE OF GRACE. ☀️
The COMING of GOD INCARNATED in the LAST DAYS BRINGS the END to the AGE OF GRACE. 🙏
He CAME MAINLY to SPEAK His WORDS, to USE WORDS to MAKE MAN PERFECT, to ILLUMINATE and ILLUMINATE MAN, and to REMOVE the PLACE of vague GOD WITHIN MAN'S HEART. ☀️ 🙏
This is NOT the STAGE of WORK that JESUS DID WHEN He came. WHEN JESUS CAME, He PERFORMED many MIRACLES, He HEALED and CAST OUT DEMONS, and He FULFILLED the REDEEMING WORK of CRUCIFIXION. ☀️
As a result, in His understanding, MAN BELIEVED that GOD should be like THIS. 😪
BECAUSE when JESUS came, He DID not REMOVE the IMAGE of the DARK GOD from the HEARTS of MAN; when He CAME, He was CRUCIFIED, He HEALED and CAST OUT DEMONS, and He SPREADED the GOSPEL of the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. On the ONE HAND, the INCARNATION of GOD in the TIME of the LAST DAYS removed the PLACE of the OBSCURE GOD in HUMAN UNDERSTANDINGS, that is WHY the IMAGE of the OBSCURE GOD in the HEARTS of MAN is no LONGER. THROUGH His ACTUAL WORDS and ACTUAL DEEDS, His ACTIONS THROUGHOUT the EARTH, and the unique real and normal work He accomplished with man, He CAUSES MAN to COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND the REALITY of GOD, and REMOVES the LOCATION of the OBSCURE GOD in the HUMAN HEART. ☀️
On the other hand, GOD USES the WORDS spoken by His FLESH to MAKE MAN COMPLETE, and to FULFILL THINGS. This is the WORK of GOD that He WILL FULFILL in the LAST DAYS. 🙏
What you should know:
1. God's work is not supernatural, and you should not harbor notions about it.
2. You must understand the main work that will be accomplished by the coming of God incarnate at this time. 💐
He DID NOT COME to HEALING, or CAST out DEMONS, or to SHOW MIRACLES, and He DID NOT COME to SPREAD the GOSPEL of REPENTANCE, or WILLING the MAN of REDEMPTION. ☀️
That's BECAUSE JESUS has FULFILLED that WORK, and GOD DOESN'T REPEAT the SAME WORK. In the PRESENT, GOD has COME to BRING to the END of the AGE OF GRACE and REMOVE ALL the HABITS of the AGE OF GRACE. PRACTICAL GOD came to SHOW that He is REAL. 💐🙏
When Jesus came, He spoke few words, first of all, He showed miracles, showed signs and wonders, and healed and cast out demons, otherwise, He spoke prophecies to make people believe , and to help people see that He is truly God, and a gentle God who does not look at anyone. In the end, He completed the work of the crucifixion. ☀️
GOD does NOT CURRENTLY show SIGNS and WONDERS, nor does He HEAL and CAST out DEMONS. When JESUS came, the WORK He did REPRESENTED a PART of GOD, BUT in the PRESENT TIME GOD CAME to PERFORM the STAGE ofvthe WORK WHICH was APPROPRIATE, because GOD does NOT REPEATE the SAME work; He is the GOD who is ALWAYS NEW and NEVER OLD, and BECAUSE ALL you SEE NOW are the WORDS and WORKS of a PRACTICAL GOD. ☀️🙏
