A pretty simple, but catchy riff. In the Vh1 " Metal Years" The thrash Years- a great interview with the lead guitarist about the album right after this one " force of habit" is discussed. It came across as them trying to sound a bit to much like the Metallica black album. This song captures the "force of habit" sound - and it was out before the " black" album. I hope that makes some sense- it is just my opinion. An awesome interview that is nearly 20 years old now..
You guys need to understand old school metal, specially thrash metal type bands. They had these kind of singular vocals. When you guys react to Metal Church you'll see what I mean. Give old school a break, not all is Slayer or Metallica or big 4. First time listening to Exodus my self though
Guy on the right didnt seem to get his head around it.. But I digged the other guys taste in how he went with it. He fk'n digged it! Other guy is to much death metal which clears he's not a musician as well. When I first played this I just hear that they're just jammin to instead of making a song. They're fun jammin man. Give props to that. 🤘🤘
F--n love tis band the album pleasures of the flesh- song brain dead an older album but MY all time favorite GIVE IT A GO , good song but no way near best Suggestion time , machine head - Block
One of my favorite Exodus songs, that riff is killer.
Kings of thrash, Gary is GOAT
was banging my head to this song 30 years ago, now 50 and still am, horns up fuckers!!!
I started listening to Exodus in 1990 and I never stopped. Powerful riff, screeching voice, rhymed text, the best trash metal ever.
You should listen to any of the tracks from tempo of the damned. Shroud of urine is my fav
Definitely liked it better the second listen 🤘🤘didn’t really catch my ear at first, but definitely a great riff

90s was the best era for metal guitar sound, scooped mids, full treble and bass, most distortions nowadays sound like crap (hope Metallica read this)
Awesome song one of my all time favs and Steve zetro rules
my alltime favorite Exodus track right there. Favorite riffs - specially the one @ 5:28
Objection Overruled off the same album is also a sweet track. \m/
EXODUS 🤘🏾😜🤘🏾

Best exodus riffs
