Thank you so much for your kind words! 💖 I really believe in sharing both the highs, the lows and the challenges-it’s all part of the creative journey, right? 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed the video, and your support means the world to me! ❤️
Thank you very much! 💕 Yes, coloring books of Johanna Basford or Rita Berman are definitely in my comfort zone and the ones where my coloring style really shines 😃✨
Beautiful pages, and yes! I think it’s okay to share those that maybe aren’t quite what we hoped for - because our pages are all learning opportunities. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, Jackie
What amazing work! Thank you for sharing. I did not see a water scene on that page until you mentioned it. But I'm not sure I saw a forest either! Very unique
Growth is painful, but makes the victories all the better when we achieve them ❤❤❤❤❤❤ your pages are beautiful. Thank you for sharing For your ocean vs magical forest page, I can see both! It’s glorious ❤
Love this video 🥰 I love your colouring style so much and it’s so nice to see what you’re colouring and in what ways. I would love it if you finished colouring some of those incompleted pages, I think they all still have so much potential to turn out amazing!
Thank you so much! 🥰 I’m so happy you enjoy my coloring style 💖 I definitely agree, those incomplete pages still have so much potential, and I’ll try to finish some of them soon! It’s always fun to revisit pages with fresh eyes. 😊 Thanks for the encouragement!
For me, it is definately a misty forest scene. The page from Kerby. And I love it! Beautiful idea! I love to watch these type of videos as well! Your coloring is so colorful! I love your style 😍😘💕
Thank you so much! ❤️ and yes, I definitely need to come back to those later, and see if I get inspired! ✨ It would be interesting if some of the pages are done (or at a later stage) for a next coloring book tour, then you can really see the evolution!
Really beautiful pages. I love the one with the yellow under layer ❤ ... I have been thinking of trying this technique so it was great to see how yours worked.
Thank you! ❤️ Yes, that was very interesting to do and something that I can recommend! It's fun because everything feels cohesive immediately because of the yellow undertone. I hope you will try it out in the near future 🍀
I love the page with the yellow underpainting. It's glowy and beautiful. Don't worry about the blue, it's doing exactly what it should. A pure blue wouldn't fit in with the cohesiveness the underpainting provides. To avoid muddiness try to reach for colors that contain some of the color of the underpainting, so for example a cool blue (phthalo) vs a warm (ultramarine). It's going to go teal or blue green, but again, that is as it should. This is a bit harder with pencil than paint, with paint the yellow would be a "mother color" and you could just add a touch of it in to all of your others on the palette. Also you may find opaque pencils cover better than transparent ones. I find a bit of muddiness isn't a bad thing though, gives the eye somewhere to rest. I think with the clarity of your usual work, it's just a bit outside your comfort zone. You should finish it. One of my favorite personal works is a tiny little experiment of a frog and mushrooms with a pale green underpainting, I really need to get around to framing it, it's been tacked on my wall above my desk for years. Also when underpainting, you don't have to cover every single part of the page, if you want something in particular to stand out. On mine there is a little red toadstool mushroom in the foreground near the focal point of the frog left paper white so it has a bit of pop compared to everything else when painted and draws the eye to him.
Wow, thank you so much for this thoughtful comment! 💛 I really appreciate all the insights and how the "muddy" blue fits into the cohesive look-I was definitely second-guessing myself on that, so it’s so reassuring to hear your perspective! 🤩 Your explanation about using cooler vs warmer tones and balancing opacity is so helpful, and I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future pages. Your experiment with the frog and mushrooms sounds absolutely adorable! 🐸🍄 I love the idea of leaving parts of the paper white for contrast. Thank you again for your kind words and encouragement, it means so much! 💖
Aww, that’s so lovely to hear! 💖 I’m so happy the bubblegum galaxies brought you here! ✨ Thank you so much for sticking around and for your sweet words, it means the world to me! 🥰
Prettig weekend!
Very interesting video ❤ About the kerby tree picture My opinion is that the background blue colour is monotonous Some shades of green can give it forest look ,
Thank you! ❤️ And yes, I can totally agree with the background being monotonous! It's like I don't dare to go full out with backgrounds (yet). I have to learn to keep layering, so it gets more depth. I'm always scared to ruin it with too many layers. Adding green is a great tip! ✨
Soo beautiful I wish one day you will grow up But sorry to say that,I am going through my annual exam now so I can't watch the whole thing. But I will definitely watch it when the exam is over
So lovely, thanks for sharing the good and the not so good! We all have those experiences and they're important. ❤ your work, as always!

Oooh you do? 😊🥰 Maybe I’m too hard on myself and everything is always so subjective 😃
Your coloring style is the best and im always learning something new from your videos ❤
