Which place is better for a family? Shahdag or Gabala?

I would prefer Shahdag because it offers more activities and Road between Shahdag and Baku
Gabala is far and Road is under construction and it took us 5 hours to reach there

Hello - how did you go from Baku to Shahdag? Can you share details of taxi cost etc? And within Shahdag is a car required? How did you reach this place from hotel?

There are two three options , Rent a car, hire a taxi or you can buy a day tour package ( they cover both sides). But if you want to stay then car rental is best option.

It's quite far from baku. I don't advise to go by taxi. It's gonna cost a lot .
