Bro I been watching your channel your Knowledge on audio is amazing question would you recommend putting 6.5 speakers in a lower fairing in also the tour pack
Question. When using the 2ohm version vs the 4ohm do you have to run the speakers parallel to get the rated power or can you achieve this by running the 2ohm amp in stereo?
Hi My husband is having trouble finding part 2 to this video that was made 1yr ago. Can you please send me the link if part 2 of this video was made. Thank you
Adding the lithium battery will take care of your problem supplying power to the amps, but has anyone thought about the stata?... What's going to happen when you have all the lights on and the the radio with the current draw?... Just asking...
I think the average motorcycle stator puts out probably less that 50 amps..probably more along the lines of 35 amps. I would say that if your running a system like the one in the video at close to full power...volume around 75 to 80 percent...that poor little stator has got to be straining big time.
Thank you Joe on the clarification and the the correct spelling of the part. So I guess it would also be wise to upgrade to the high output charging system if you don't already have it.
I agree with you that CCA wire is inferior to 100 percent copper wire, but when you are dealing with very short distances like on a bike (5ft or less) would it really matter?
Yes it definitely matters especially on a motorcycle we have a very limited amount of current to work with to begin with so every little shortcut cost us a boatload of output plus the cost savings doesn’t make sense at all you’re only talking about a few dollars in the price difference between copper and CCA wire is it really worth it to save 10 $20 to lose even one watt of output? It just doesn’t make sense to buy $3000 worth of amplifiers and then cut corners on the wire just because it’s a short run
It does when it gets wet. Better to just put the better wire especially if its such a short run.god forbid, you know the saying"shit happens" that would so suck if you spent$$$$$ and a problem occurs at the one spot that we slacked off on.Been there done that.
I have a question for you, 2007 street glide running aftermarket KENWOOD BT DECK, a 4 channel amp 5.25 speakers in the batwing and 6x9 in the lids of the bags is my amp supposed be to be grounded to battery or a frame spot? I get high pitch sound coming out of the speakers when I start up my bike or if the radio is waiting for BT to connect then when music starts playing it will go away or I just can’t hear it anymore any help would be awsome thanks
Hey Carlos have a question what would cause radio / cd to cut out when turned half way up but if u turn down to 1/4 way it stops. It has 4 6 1/2 and amp installed
@@NVSAUDIO grounded to frame, soundstrem s4m1000 with 10 gauge power and ground per company I called to confirm cuz didn't like size personally its set to hpf gains are about 3/4 turned up

Lower fairing
Will
Give you the best sound
Tour pack pods are very small and offer very little output unless they are ported into the tour pack
@@NVSAUDIO thanks fam much appreciated
Did you run a new ground to the frame like you’ve shown before .

Plus to get away with cc a wire you need to oversize it the undersized it

we only ground to the frame when we do bigger audio setups but we upgrade the frame ground first to 4 gauge or zero
@ thank you I appreciate your help on this and I love the way you set up those audio systems!! Great channel you have. Stay safe brother!!
What amp would you put on 2 10" yellow baskets

Amp gains set wrong
Loose ground wire
There are a few thing that can cause this .
What’s in the setup and how Is it wired ?
Where is it grounded
