not exactly because in this time greatest robbery in history of Soviet people has began our country was devided by mob with western support, wind of change was just wind of total destruction of huge country
Your people had a choice,.embrace it or sit back and let the usual suspects rob your country blind whilst you suffer. You chose the latter and it's still happening now, Putin is one of the richest men in the world, whilst most Russians don't have a toilet inside.
Jon and Richie were the perfect duo, too bad they're not anymore but I was lucky to see them live twice, enough to last me a lifetime. Despite of their differences both of them are talented and when combined? Explosive......
Still nothing that can be compared to the good old days. Both are/were amazing singers their voices blended together perfectly. Jon and Richie are the heart and soul of the band it's just not the same without Richie no one can replace him it seems like he was born to be part of Bon Jovi and he choose not to be anymore but it's ok they've got nothing to prove they are superstars.
I had this on cassette and memorized the entire beginning. Today marks the day I’ve found it after all these years. Bon Jovi has been ahead of their time since day one. God bless these amazing artists that have been blessed to change so many peoples lives with their talent and they are still doing it.
Love this song... just watched this song for the first time in a long time, and it instantly takes me back to growing up with my buddies Darren, Kevin, Nicky, Carter, Johnny, Billy Jo, Joey... i literally just texted them to see how they are doing. BROTHERS FOREVER!!! And yes, i teared up...
Wow, that was quite a moving speech he gave at the beginning! He's always been very articulate. And I think this is the most unusual version of Blood On Blood that I've ever heard - I loved it! I heard him say in an interview that they were brought up to believe the Russians were the enemy, but when he went there, he realised it wasn't true and said the people were warm and caring. Lovely comments, you can see how he felt from the way he sang that song to them 😃 Gracias por compartir, PabloSantaFe87!
This performance is so bitter sweet. I remember as a kid watching this, and I understood something great was happening. The world was changing to the better. Not long after this concert, the Berlin wall fell. Two years after the Soviet Union followed. It truly was hope in the air. For a more united world. Here we are almost 25 years later and I realize how naive we all were. Again we need to fight for liberty and Western democracy. It sure felt good though! So much has changed... but, there is still hope!
Watched this Gig live on UK Satellite TV it was just the bollocks! I have it all recorded on VHS from the day. For rock music it has never been beaten.
I was living in New York at the time and I think it was Z100 was broadcasting live and we recorded it on a cassette. I was 13 years old at the time. I still treasure this performance. This is was pushed me to take voice lessons with Jon’s voice teacher Katie Agresta.
This is probably the best version of "Blood On Blood" that I ever heard even though I am mostly familiar with the original version coming from their fourth studio album titled New Jersey. It was really great to see Jon Bon Jovi share lead vocals with Richie Sambora on this live version of the song and it really makes me wish that they could have alternated lead vocals together when it came to recording new studio albums inside the recording studio. There should have been two lead vocalists of Bon Jovi instead of one. Basically, Richie Sambora could also sing as he had the pipes to do it but Jon Bon Jovi had a voice when it came to being the leader of his namesake rock band. This video comes from one of the band's live concert performances during their New Jersey tour which was the most grueling and exhausting one for them. Bon Jovi had began touring heavily since 1984 after they made their debut and the tours would put the pressures on the band's relationships with each other along with their families, on their health and their emotions. At the conclusion of their New Jersey tour, the exhaustion had led Bon Jovi to temporarily split up and take a hiatus for a long while until they regrouped in 1992 to continue with their new music and so forth. Otherwise, the band itself is still going strong and they made a lot of tremendous comebacks in many different ways. This video definitely hits different now in so many ways. Classic moment in the history of Bon Jovi.
Saw this vid sometimes and forget to say Thank you for uploading.👏🏻🥰 I (living in the GDR/East Germany) saw the Moscow peace concert live on TV by chance. It was broadcast by Soviet television on a frequency unknown to me for the soldiers stationed. I had just started the channel search of the TV because of changing weather when a live concert of BJ fluttered towards me. Not in optimal quality, because only room antenna but it was BJ.😁😍 It was like July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas fell on one day for me if I would be an american. The West german TV did'nt broadcast it maybe because of politics, maybe money... And the East german TV ? NEVER! NO WAY! NEVER!
i could be sitting all day listening to this AMAZING PERFORMANCE and also looking at them.... god dammit they were truly a BAND with the whole definition of the word back then!

I don't know if the 1989 Moscow Peace Festival really made any difference to the lives of the Russian people, but the nice thing was that, at the time, Jon believed that it would! At least, I'm sure it gave those people a good memory ☺
what a hell of performance... jon during the new jersey tour was a war machine...what incredible high vocals with perfect pitch control...i don't need to talk about the others simply the best Aor Rock live band in the world through 1987-1993...

Then they did! I remember saying to my girlfriend of the time "It's only Blood on fucking Blood!" and then belting it out along with the band, I was totally made up by that point!

Man, that piano intro is really great. I've never heard Dave play it like that since
Last time ever was Guadalajara in 1990
SUCH AN AMAZING SONG , it's awesomeness amplified by that piano
I'm watching this video again and I'm still thrilled... I still love this band, even after 40 years...
At the time there was a real brotherhood... It's not the same thing now. We all miss Richie & Alec.
Yes, I miss Alec and Richie also!! It’s just not the same!!

I love that the keyboards are high in the mix in this version!
Me too! The way I look at it is that the 80’s was like one of those decades where keyboards became highly popular
Richie and Alec had insanely underrated chemistry
Just Epic!!! The best live performance ever.

This is everything is, Bon Jovi is everything! Someone should show this to Richie, so he can be reminded of how close they were.
What makes you think the split is all Richie’s fault? Maybe Jon needs to look at it too!
