    24:23 do you know what it is and how did you get that amazing kasumi right down to the edge? Usually, the core is harder and the kasumi is on the soft cladding, right? Thanks for the fun vid!

    The big Yanagi at 4:15 isn’t Masamoto. And the Yanagi at 9:45 is Takayuki Sakai.

    When you regrind, are you grinding it flat or convex?

      Generally going for flat grinds. Convex grinds will need to be thinned in a shorter span of time compared to a flat grind

    Can't help it, but the combination of a super-shiny polished cutting edge with a dimpled, pitted, patina'd or almost black upper half of the blade looks odd. All smooth and shiny is the way to go, but to each their own.
