    what's the meaning of "lay them all out' when she talks about the ingredients? in the first minute and ten seconds

      It means she puts them on the counter where she can see them. You can also “lay out” everything you’re taking on a trip, for example, which means putting everything you plan to pack in one place so you can see them all (and make sure you’re not forgetting anything)!
