So the OG CBR900RR was 1992, but big Neil is right that it was 96 at the TT on the 'blade. First eligible class the fireblade could run in, production bike class had been away for 6 years. Philip Mccallen romped it at 118mph. New record set. 2 dozen of the 50 odd starters were on a 96 blade. The top ten were mostly all on the Honda! Who was Nelly spannering for?
I hit a deer going 70mph about 7 years ago. I went down fast and hard. Nothing broke, but only had a t shirt on. Road rash was the most pain Ive ever had. I remember getting back on my Night Train about two months later. Heaven! Steve Sinclair Maryland U.S.
I really like Lee Johnson as a commentator He's very natural I like his accent He just comes across as what you would think he would be just to meet in the street Keep it up Lee and get back on that f in bike.🇮🇲🦘👍
Always great to see the onboard Lee. Shows you getting back on it and well up to speed. Last lap was mega. Great as well to see Neil back on the vlog. We all miss his charm and sense of humour. Looking forward to the next 1.
great to see Neil back (and seems to be showing signs of a smile ) but I guess it could have been wind !!!!! but fantastic to see the progress being made and plus you managed to keep on it this time😂😂
Absolute quality. Good to see Neil back in the fold. He's got the patience of a saint working with you Lee. What a team you two are must be great going to work, if you can call it work😂. I bet Clive Padgett was screaming at the screen with regards to the Fireblade question.
No matter what you say Lee - that looked pretty damn quick! Good to have the dynamic duo back together…..not seen Neil smile that much on a recent vlog 😊
Keep feeding Neil and you might get a smile out of him...I presume he has to pay for the parts which no doubt will cost an arm and a leg...thanks for another great vlog...👍👍
Cheers for the vlog Lee. Great to see Neil back. Also thanks for putting in those different camera shots from the helmet (sounds slightly wrong 😂). Shame about the back camera not recording though 🤣 All the best & look forward to the next vlog ✊🏻
Grate to see the main man back 👍 does Neil own any bikes of his own ? Grate blog weather looks good bike looks good Neil’s touch Look forward to the next one
Great vlog again, nice to see to see Neil. Really interested in your crash glad you was ok, how much did it cost to fix the bike. Fantastic on board at the end.
Yes it is good to see Neil back Just one question are you riding at the TT this year, that's all I can think about. I hope so mate and good to see you in Spain riding 😊best wishes to you and the family for the new year
I hope you are well enough to do it mate but if your not well your fan's will be behind you no matter what . Make sure you are right first mate Best wishes Paul
@@Mox3d it was white with some red & blue, it didn't have the fire blade name here only called cbr900rr. I'm pretty sure on the new rr-r sp has the fire blade name her in the US. we don't get the new rr-r, we only have the last gen cbr1000rr or the cbr1000rr-r sp fire blade so $16k or $30k lol big price swing
Did laying the bike down but getting up and walking it off and just feeling stiff and sore the next few days actually helped you mentally mate? Whatever it's shows your still pushing and that your still the same great rider that always puts on a show when out on track or road. Oh great to see your side kick back felt wrong not seeing Neil in the last track vlog.
A up you and Neil are like a Comedy double act really enjoy your videos i am going to get a bike again i messaged you wen i had come home from hospital last year after having sepsis and being in a coma i lost all interest in bikes and sold my bike and Said I was not going to have another one.but but i don't think i can be with out the Feeling of riding a bike again.
Normal service resumed. If you were going to push a crashed bike. Having it fixed up by Neil would give you a lot more confidence. You can get on with riding the bike. And getting race ready. Neil does his thing. Teamwork.
Lee, Neil. It won't be the top clamp that is the problem it's the bottom clamp. Some call it the triple tree. I came off my bike last summer 2023 and the bottom clamp on mine is the problem waiting for a replacement. £500.
Defo great to see Rory - I know he could do a job in worlds but the prospect of both him and Kennedy battling it out in British supersport would be epic
Looking gud Lee. Was Rory not out on track aswell.? A bit of dicing about on camera would of being gud to see.1 question where are you fitness wise ?.All the very best to you an Neil.
It's good that Neil is back. It was like watching Laurel without Hardy when he wasn't there.
That’s a perfect description of Neil & Lee, Laurel & Hardy 😂 perfect 👌
Little and Large or The Chuckle Brothers 🤔 🤣
I'm thinking most this audience won't know who you were referring to😁😁 I do though

That camera angle at the end was awesome! The best riders eye view I have seen. They say the camera doesn`t lie, so Neil WAS looking very happy.

1993 is the first model year in the USA but you could actually buy it in February of 1992
@@848evo4 Seems like yesterday but yeah, 1992 was Fireblade launch in the UK. Did the US models look the same or different I wonder.

I was just watching the second part of the Julian Trummer interview on TT + when this notification came through.

I’ve got a 95 fire blade that I’m trying to restore, can you send Neil round to sort it out for me I’m only a couple miles away 🤣
Only ever found the choc in powder form not ready to go
92 first blade.
I think its safe to say, we now know what Neil's 'I'm not upset, i'm just dissapointed' face looks like...
🤣
First fireblade was mid 90s maybe 1993
Hope you realise Lee that your not safe out on your own. Always go with uncle Nell 😅😅😅
Aye, Lee needs either Neil or wee Jesse on hand to offer needed guidance on demand. lol 🤣🤣
Hi Christie
Do you fly into malaga for Andalucia/Almeria. Thanks
