Quick question. Would your mouse mod of eliminating pre and post travel make it easier to rapidly click on the mouse? Because in Minecraft, clicks per second is vital to PvP, and I would like to modify my M2K to eliminate pre and post travel + a better cable in order to maximize my performance.
the m2k can't be cable modded because of the carbon fiber shell. post travel and pre travel elimination also aren't the best ways of increasing cps since some post travel helps to create a "bouncier" feeling which helps for jitter/normal clicking
Use an optical mouse switch and you'll have to use the Millmax mod. The Millmax bits come in 3 sizes buy enough for each of your mouse. Millmax is traditionally a keyboard hotswap switch mod but it has a byproduct, it raises the switch by about a millimeter. Get different types of Millmax and try it in your mouse. You can research about the Millmax mod and you'll understand the different sizes it comes with. Whenever I have seen this done to a mouse all the pre/post travel is gone, the switch and the mouse plastic feel like one coherent unit. I'd suggest trying GM 4.0s with this mod but you can try TTC Gold (80M only)
Hi. did you perhaps take a measure of the encoder? I've experienced some issues with my gold TTC encoder, and I was looking to replace it with a TTC silver, and I was wondering if a 9mm encoder would be the right size for the Lamzu Atlantis OG
hey, did you end up installing a new encoder? been thinking about this myself since seems like every bloody scroll wheels goes bonkers on every single mouse i just dont know anymore
Nope! I just decided to buy a new Lamzu Atlantis! I bought the newer version with the silver Encoder and it works perfectly. Didn't want to deal with the headache of the old one. @@wessen666
Hi, have you had any experience with the LAMZU ATLANTIS OG V2 4K? I would like to know what type of switch is on the mouse wheel button, as you can see in this video the regular version has a rectangular switch, but they put square buttons in their smaller versions of the mouse. So if you have disassembled LAMZU ATLANTIS OG V2 4K maybe you know what type of switch on the wheel, square or rectangular, thanks in advance for the answer. This is important because the square buttons are very not durable. Yes, and I would like to thank you for your videos, almost the only channel that shows what is inside the rodents.
hi friend! do you have the dimensions of the usb-c connector from the cable? I've heard the atlantis does not work with all usb-c cables... I appreciate if you can help
Hello, i found my buttons wobble much more and after opening mouse, buttons has only 1 screw each (top one is missing on both buttons) what kind of screw i can use for fix?
Hello bob. i don't think you will see this but what is an alternative to the poron pad that is shown around 5:36 since the LMB poron pad peeled off. i tried stacking alu tape but just made the button more stiff and not responsive. What other suggestions do you suggest i should use that fills the spot and eliminates stiffness. Sorry for the long message and thanks.
Any chance you’ll weight mod the TUF M4 Wireless? I’m mainly curious if there’s a way to mod the wireless components into the lighter shell of the M4 Air
Why .. Personally, I don't like Kailh switches. My preference has been TTC Dustproof Gold 60m (I'm going to try their 30m) and I'm okay with their Huano switch choice. On the encoder, I actually prefer a very stiff indenting switch like either TTC or Japanese ALPS, I use the encoder to switch my weapons. I play hardcore Call of Duty on a competitive level, every engagement is over in milliseconds.

every video about this mouse makes me want one more :(
Bob you've inspired me to mod my mouse, thanks for the vids and teardowns
hands down best mice of 2022 in terms of tech, prices and quality. once lamzu offers the 4k dongle, it's over
Agreed
what is the type of screw and dimensions? that the lamzu uses???

My mouse randomly turned off. Any advice?
Hi! How can I clean the top of the mouse? It was white but year ago started to become yellow
Pls change valorate to valorant in your description!

I bought this mouse. Is there any diffreence between 500HZ and 1000HZ and which one should I use?

I don't know much about switches, but my Black Atlantis has Huano side switches compares to your Kailh
do you have any videos putting the mouse back together? really just want to make sure the switches line up
Can you disassemble the lamzu maya the same way as the lamzu atlantis? Seems like maya has the pcb solded to the bottom side of the mouse
where can i get the green tool you are using in this video? awesome video, very helpful!
my launch Atlantis is still my main, these things are built well

Bob tell me pls, are those Huano blue pinks switches are louder then omrons in gpx?? I prefer more silence. Thanks for answer
I want to get into modding mice. What are the essentials that I should buy first?

Always a good overview Bob. Cant wait for your next stream 🙌🏼 - LegendaryLunatic
Thanks man, see ya soon on stream 👍
A normal good old screw? I don't expect that kinda filth from you bob 🤣🤣🤣
Try putting a magnetic type c connector in it
Bob can u do an video on the GXT trust red ex 980 mouse please
@Beardedbob Good day! Great overview. Could you please tell me what height the TTC Gold encoder has here?
Hi, can’t recall but it will be in the teardown
@Beardedbob It may be a long shot that you see this, but I'm not the best at reading a ring sizing tool. What size would that be?
Tbh not sure I would have to trawl the video, if I go into it I’ll take a look unless someone else knows
Any chance you’ll weight mod the TUF M4 Wireless? I’m mainly curious if there’s a way to mod the wireless components into the lighter shell of the M4 Air
what size of scroll wheel encoder?
Thanks for this! I bought a mini version of this because of this video.
Thank you now I can clean my Lamzu but have to sacrifice the skate.
Yup, you might get away with not needing new skates but I would plan to replace them at the same time
I wounded if I can do a DA3 pcb swap on a lamzu😂
you good!!!👍

.. I have the pink Atlantis on pre-order. My GOAT after spending at least $2K on mice is my modded GPX Superlight.
why is it not available in Malaysia? Can someone ask Lamzu?
U can check some keyboard and gaming peripherals stores
what do you think of the glass skates that come in the box?
Seem decent but haven’t tested them loads
It’s huano blue shell pink dot mate
is the mouse sensor support motion sync?
i think yes, its the 3995
Yes and Lamzu said it was enabled by default
