About time someone gets how important it is to be able to swap batteries! This device can now live longer than the batteries used... Woods makes a battery bank that takes 4XAA batteries but it does not recharge your batteries. This is more efficient and environmentally friendly.
OK, that’s very cool. Although I don’t have any devices that use removable, chargeable batteries, I like that you can continuously use that as a charger and replace the batteries when they go bad. The portable power banks that I have, once they go bad, I’ll have to completely replace them. Do you know if it can handle a small portable solar panel for charging the power bank? ✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
I agree, a very cool design. Yes, I have a couple of smaller solar panels with USB-A outputs that work with it. They are low wattage but still do the trick. I may make an update vidoe on just that. Thank for commenting
So Mark with your two batteries installed what would the capacity be 8000 mA? I have a bank rated at 20 000 mA. It is about the same size as my cell phone. Just a little thicker. Wondering about the price of 4 batteries and the unit. Like the idea of replaceable batteries. Thanks for the review.
Hello from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦 I had to take a battery bank with me when I was working PS I like the one that came with a vest😅😉 still using it especially since the temperature here is hanging around freezing🥶 🎉
I have used the one from my vest as well. Right now I am using the INUII while I am travelling. I have really nice super small one from Klarus I am testing. Thanks for commenting
As a charger it's great. Especially i love the display and PD. That battery bank feature is pretty much useless. I never use that. Normal battery banks give much more capacity with same size. Excellent charger for home, car and camping.
Yes, I agree. I have much better power banks as well. I guess if I did not own one and had extra 18650 batteries, this may make sense. Thanks for commenting
I just ordered one of these after seeing someones fkashlight video with one or a sinilar one I like that it normalizes all the batterys for anything i can charge via usb, just load up a battery case with 27100 and i can charge all my stuff with them, flashlight, action cam, cellphone, headphones etc My head lamp actually takes 21700 thats why this appealed to me, i just ordered 2 batteries feom sofirn to go in it I like gow you wxplained the spacer, the last video i watched sisnt explain it right, he made it aound like it was for 18650s only, and you couldbt charge a 18650 and 21700 together, but now i understand its not the size of the vattery or not vut whether it has a nipple on the positive terminal
@@MarkYoungBushcraft I was a bit tired look at all those typos, I don't usually stay up that late lmao, but yeah it arrives today, out for delivery, I'm excited
G'day Mark, thats pretty neat mate. Its gotta few benefits on top of it's basic dual functionality I reckon; it's an ideal way to carry back up 18650s or 21700s. ....... I wonder if it'll work with one of each ? one can essentially charge a phone with one's torch if/when the batteries die, you dont throw away the whole unit. Like the "bananas in pajamas" feature too i.e. B1 and B2 status ; ) You're obviously not gonna get 20000 mAh out of it; more like in the 6 - 10K range, but hey, that's all I ever carry in a pack anyway, + a small panel could extend it further again. Yes, always good to have an IP rating, though I cant see a need to ever leave this one out in the weather, so I'm not particularly bothered by that. If anything, I'd like to see a sturdier case; simply to enhance longevity i.e. since it has the potential to outlast many a battery. Cheers Duke.
the battery percentage isnt accurate on the powerbank i would usually charge my battery to 80% on vapcell s4 plus fast charger then when i put the battery in the powerbank and check individual battery percentage it would show about 76%
It maybe worth testing your batteries to see if they are charging to their full capacity. I have a video on an XTAR battery checker. Thanks for commenting
That's a handy-dandy gadget. Great Idea. Kinda' piss poor execution tho. ....too bad as soon as you started to fiddle with it the sound said it was sadly made of the cheapest-aka brittle plastic . I know that sound & recognize it anywhere... that you ended with the fact there's neither an IP or Drop rating, well, confirms my ears are stil good .lol Seriously, Manufacturers should HAVE to use ABS plastics or something that WILL survive a functional Drop Test - particularly if it's an item that's meant to be portable! Good grief. It ought to be able to withstand a drop from ones hand to the floor without falling apart, but moreso without cracking/breaking making it unusable- at minimum requirement. If we're going to continue to buy and use plastics, companies need to be forced into effort to make products that aren't actually Designed to Fail. sigh... Sorry to sound negative, but at this point, that's my stance on the current state of industry/consumer waste-it is negative, damn near all of it.

I agree. I prefer replaceable batteries in my flashlights. So it makes sense to want the same thing for power banks. Thanks for commenting
I just bought that one! Received it yesterday, what a timely review!
Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for commenting
You sir are really good on reviews. So practical and simple!
I appreciate that! Thanks for commenting

Good point about the case Duke. I know XTAR is reading the comments so maybe they will come up with something. Thanks for commenting

I wish they release one that's 5S1P that can do at least 45W.
