Appreciate the Reborn love! Hitman Reborn definitely has one of the best underrated weapons in anime out there, it's a huge shame a lot of people missed out the series. Truly an underrated classic.

I'm not entirely sure if Akira Amano herself is aware but the voice actors ( most especially Reborn's seiyu) acknowledged the trend and it's been out of control lately. Just between you and me, If Reborn really did came back one day and I get to see the new weapons and the XX-BURNER on my screen, I will light my hair on fire, walk around with my boxers and yell out "Reborn"......... :'D

Never really got into Hitman Reborn. I love when a characters gear/weapons evolve with the character. When I first saw the vid my mind instantly went to Zabuza's executioner blade lol but samehada is definitely the most unique of the 7 swordsmen of the mist Blades. Maybe on the next list we'll see Raiden's big muscles or Julius' steroids lol great vid as always man.
Sadly, Project Moon doesn't have any anime under its belt, but I wanna shout out the various EGO shown off throughout their whole franchise. There are two types: abnormality-based EGO (abnormalities being the basically-SCPs of this universe), and "effloresced" EGO (aka personal EGO). Both types of EGO have the advantage of giving you instinctual knowledge as to how they are used, with is a neat little detail. For the abnormality EGO, I'd say my favorite is probably Mimicry, based on Nothing There. For one, it is extremely powerful, being made from an ALEPH-class abnormality (ALEPH being the higher level that an abno can be at and also includes the _actual antichrist_ of the Project Moon verse) and so physically overpowered that using _an inferior prototype_ led Kali (coolest character in the PM verse btw) towards gaining her Color Fixer title of "the Red Mist". Because that's all that would be left of anyone she decided needed whacking with it. Secondly, it is a shapeshifting weapon, being able to turn into all sorts of melee weapons and even just grow in size. And finally... its standard weapon form looks like Soul Edge (for context, it also has the alternative forms of a scythe and I think some kinda mace?). Yeah, I'm 100% biased. As for effloresced EGO... that's hard, because all the ones I'm familiar with are AWESOME. Spicebush is one of those EGO that basically let you use magic, GasHarpoon is so perfectly suited for Ahab it's not even funny, and both Philip's and Xiao's (sadly unnamed) EGO are just... extremely cool looking, even with Philip's EGO never becoming complete. I do have to once again shout out Kali being _the fucking coolest_ though, as her EGO (technically unnamed, but people have been calling it the Red Mist EGO) is a suit of armor and such that _basically gives her a Devil Trigger from DMC._ It makes her stronger, faster, tougher, etc etc while in use, and with her still using the Mimicry prototype alongside it, she's an absolute BEAST. And on that note, I did point out Ahab's GasHarpoon, but _all_ the effloresced EGO fit their original users perfectly. For instance, Kali is primarily a physical combatant due to Mimicry being a close-ranged weapon, so her EGO superboosts her physical stats to let her hit even faster and harder. Ahab is a gaslighting Whale hunter ("Whale" being spelled with a capital W because those things are basically seafaring eldritch abominations) who believes her crew to simply be an extension of herself, so her EGO takes the form of a massive arm-mounted harpoon that quite literally subsumes members of her crew and their potential EGOs into its own power. Spicebush is a very natural-themed EGO, and its user is basically a pro-nature radicalist. So on and so forth, I could honestly stay here for a while explaining how each effloresced EGO perfectly fits the user, but I won't so as to not waste your time. Anyway, uh... Project Moon? You're sitting on basically free money here. Make a Library of Ruina anime already.
I think the most op anime weapon of all time was the tessaiga from inuyasha. Its basic form can kill 100 demons. It can brake barriers,fire dimonds,yōkai absorption and sending your enemies directly to literal hell.
I am watching videos of animes most powerful weapons but I was very disappointed when I don,t see yeoui and if you combine it with jin mori's/sun wukong's whole set in goh which consistent of his dragon armour and other things it is OP af no wonder he was able to kill Tangatha
