Safety is important. Thanks for the update.
You bet! Thanks Dutch!
Nice update in a short video. The one thing I took away from this video was the word “safely”. What good would it do to harvest a lot of crabs or fish and then lose you boat on the return trip. Stay safe. We can wait for you to complete everything on the EI.
Thanks for the update hoping all has been well with all of you and emerald is looking fantastic stay safe my friends
Thanks John!
Safety first. Better a financial loss than a loss of life, by going fishing in dangerous conditions.
Better safe❤❤❤ Thank God the other crew got home safe.
Many more seasons to come success is in your future !! So proud of you guys and all you do!!!
Good choice guys. The sea is a dangerous workplace. Greetings from Misery Bay Northern Denmark
CAPT TIM , THE DECK LOOKS REALY GOOD, FINE JOB. CANT WATE TO SEE HER SAIL TO THE FISH GROUNDS.
Wow, are they mast mounted search lights, if so they will be the new Aurora Borealis!
Like all the show thank you all , Lucky Edmonds in Candler NC
She is looking great. It has been so amazing to see you plan for all of your upgrades and watch your progress with them. Can’t wait to go fishing with her and you.
Likewise, thanks for following our journey!
Can’t wait to see the new boat finished! Why do you have to travel so far to fish?
I hate that you guys lost monies because of the weather, but I would rather see yo loose a few coins than get hurt. Loosing y'all would upset me to no end. I am looking forward to seeing a video from you guys every day or a few please stay safe and healthy. Till next time bye bye.
Likewise Ed, sucks to miss the season but would sure rather fish another day than take needless risks. We are definitely looking forward to pulling off the workshop and getting her fishing.

Watch the whole ads so this family gets money to get this boat fishing.
Stay safe and keep plugging away
Look forward to seeing the new boat completed.
I can’t wait to see that baby hauling Fish!!!!
Us too! Pulling the first fish over the rails will be epic!
Looking Good, Nice work manship.
Looking like lots of work good luck got to besafe
looking good guys safety first always.
Bummer on the Tanner Crab, but understood.
Great to see the progress on the boat and how the fishing and weather is hard to fish around or not fish Safe! Sounds like you made the right call! Stay Safe and super to see family working with each other very Special!! Thank you for Sharing 💞
Simple n Safe is the best way. Blessings
I remember when the fam bought it. It may seem like its a forever restoration but once completed it will be a valuable contributor.
It's certainly been a long journey to this point! Happy to say we are nearing the finish line.
Thanks for the update! The most important thing is everyone goes home! Thank you EIS Alaska. 😅
You bet! Thanks, Gary!
Great skills good job
Thanks for the update!! You guys rock ❤
Thanks, William!
Thanks for the update…always love to hear what your strategies are. Can you explain the concept behind the false deck on Emerald Isle? Will it go all the way to the stern? Can’t wait to see her fishing. Peace.
The false deck helps in water shedding and also helps make the deckspace a lot more optimized. It eliminates the rise from the hatches and also reduces the fatigue on bodies caused by the slope of the deck. We will be bringing it all the way to the stern.
Roll on family Roll on crew! Emerald isle is looking great patiently waiting for fit out and fish on the deck! Stay safe and do it right then you know that you have a reliable boat when the time comes! And thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us (me)!
Thanks! Take care, Lyn!
Impressive work.
I lov❤you guys so much 😂
She is looking pretty good there Matt do you have any idea roughly about when you might get done
We're aiming to be jigging cod soon! So we'll definitely keep you updated. Thanks, Tucker.
As always ... great content and information !!!!
Thanks, Ken!
Isn’t better to have a larger boat that can handle the weather better? Or it’s not efficient for your operation.
You can only go so big before you can't handle it as a family operation any longer. Any bigger than the Emerald Isle we'd have to hire deckhands and that comes with its own costs and other factors.
You guys are amazing! Keep up the great work guys. See you on the next one
Thanks so much!
good job guys!
.....KEEP GOING YOURE ALMOST THERE............
Cheers!
Are you going to put up an EIS flag so mom can find the boat in port?
We should! The poles and antenna are still close to tallest in the harbor, but they blend in a lot more now.
You guys do very good work I like watching your show
Thanks, Lewis!
Good video I enjoy seeing the progress on the EIS
Thanks, Joseph!
Thanks
Great update guys many thanks & Hi from Dublin Ireland
Thanks for the update . You are doing amazing work and will have virtually a brand new boat when you are finished . Does the Fish Tail get passed down to the Oldest Son :-) That would be a real family business .
What a transformation. I don't comment often, but I watch every video.
Either you fellas are out fishing to make some money or just pushin hard to get the Isle ready for fishing. Anxiously waiting for a new video!
😊😊😊😊😊
Wow!!!! Can’t wait to see how those lights blaze at night!!!! I never go the easy route in builds. I want it stout and to last forever. That’s you Len!! The boys will do the same!!! Thank you all for the RUclips’s! I love them!
Same here Max! We're excited to see the lights working on the water. We've always been one to overbuild stuff, rather it be able to take a beating and last a lot longer.
👍👏👏
I love this boat great looking sea boat I used to have my troller here in BC Canada stay safe guy's
That's going to be a wonderful completion. Wish you speedy success
Thanks a bunch for your continued support, Gold!
@@EISAlaska started a new job hauling oysters, here on Vancouver Island, and oh that fresh ocean air is beating me!!

What did you do to the real
hey there folks, is the possibly spy balloon near yous
The boat looks absolutely mint fellas
Wow well done you have been so busy !!
Thanks for the update. I had read that the weather was rough and glad you made the right call. Get the big boat where you need it and go for the fishing that makes you the most revenue. We lost a crab boat in Sonoma County, CA, out of Bodega Bay two weeks ago. The Aleutian Storm, 58 foot long, 57 tons displacement. They were loaded with Dungeness and heading south back to port and somehow ended up on Salmon Creek beach, north of Bodega Bay. All the details have not come out on the circumstances of how she ended up on the beach. The crew made it off the boat onto the beach, everyone was safe. Tugs tried to get her off at high tide for three days, but could not get her refloated. Then a big storm blew in and she broke up on the beach. A bigger boat for this area, steel, double hulled, but she was lost. Stay safe.
We saw that on RUclips! That is heart breaking about the boat, but thank goodness everyone made it off safely.
Really turning out nice, can’t wait to see how she fishes!
We can't wait either!
How in hell have you the time to fix all that?
Work 25h /24?
Pretty much! We haven't taken many days off aside from special occasions. Its been a grind but glad we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Mntp
Great update guys! We appreciate you taking us along, you all are such an incredible team… watch you go 😊and stay safe friends!
Thanks so much, Cindy!
It's great you are in the position financially that you don't have to crab in bad weather. No crab or pay check is worth dying for. It's to bad some boats don't have a choice and get into trouble because they have to fish or crab regardless of the danger .
God bless stay safe and I'm glad you decided safety comes first.
That's for sure, William. Always another season.
Top-notch work.
