well obviously the sub 300 has not been properly sharpened I'd be willing to bet that if it had been given the proper attention it would cut paper as well as your pool noodles just as well I know that you're comparing them directly out of the box but there is a comparison to be made here of course unless you're talking sub 300 being like 60 bucks
