I'd never played any of the NMH games but saw the Day One Edition of this at Gamestop and had only ever heard good things, so thought I'd give it a shot!
Did the third game release specifically on the switch? I am currently playing through the first game on the switch I'm pretty sure at least on the Wii or the Wii U originally all three games are available on the switch along with one of the side games called Travis must die or something I will probably play that one last but the first game is extremely fun and I'm really excited to play the second and third
Theres no evidence to back this up, but i like to think Travis is a professional assassin that spent all of his earned money on a light saber and the whole franchise is about him trying to pay it off.
I have't pay attention to the recap of NMH1 but seem like it's all about missing siblings stuff and reveal to MC. NMH2 is all about moving the rank assassin by killing the higher rank assassin and learn about why did the Rank 1 kill his best friend? nothing much is special to be per say. NMH1 is a little confuse especially with the cliff hanger ending while NMH2 is not really continue where it left off despite he said it continue where it left off. no it's not. the event took place 3 years after NMH1. no more it's continue where it left off.

I forgot where but in the first game it's said he found the light saber on ebay for cheap and that's part of why he became an assassin
