EHX Electro-Harmonix Tube Zipper fuzz envelope filter

Revisiting this pedal demo I did for Jet City Music many years ago because I loved this effect and the music I recorded with it. The Electro-Harmonix Tube Zipper was a very cool fuzz distortion with a crazy envelope filter effect. I didn't get to keep this one as it was the property of Jet City Music, but I did find one recently on Reverb and snatched it up!!
The first song is my instrumental version of David Bowie's "The Jean Genie" and the second song is an original tune that I wrote inspired by this pedal.

I’ve had a tube zipper for years. It was on my main board for a king time. Takes a lot of room. Very unique pedal and super touch sensitive. Thanks for sharing.

Technically, that Strat is a humbucking guitar with Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups. I used a stock Gibson SG for the second tune.
