What a great way for a president to relax. Rather than simply playing golf, or lying around, he kept physically and mentally busy, doing the things he loved, in a slice of heaven on earth. What I love most about Reagan is that he was so in love with his wife (and she with him). A good marriage is a must for a president, to comfort him when he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders. He was a very blessed man.
Trump by order of the day is a whazzack compared with Reagan, Reagan liked the simple life, he loved the simple life, a grounded man, his wife was in love with him completely, when a man has this gift he can become great, Reagan was great.
Miss you Mr. President. Thank you for loving horses, history and America. 😥

Always admired President Reagan for his love of animals--he once said "There is nothing better for the inside of a man that the outside of a horse"-because of his love of riding--when he was campaigning in 1980 he made a quick stop at the ranch and his horses literally ran out of their enclosure just to nustle up to him--he once told of how one evening he went into the stable and saw a mountain lion cub sleeping--he told all the visitors/ranch hands etc to just leave it alone as the mother would come a pick the cub up--and sure enough the mother was seen from a distance doing just that
He is my idol ,speaking of quality and people of worth , he has the hight position and still working .He is almost a perfect human being him and Mrs .Reagan
Having 5 horses of my own, its a lot of work, just to get everyone ready for a ride. I can only hope, that I’m in as good of shape, as he is, at that age!! God bless you Mr President. This country sure could use you right about now.....

I grew up on a farm in Minnesota and when we rode our horses (rare) it was always bare back sometimes a harness never a bridle.

I understand why it's best to not say/want "to go back to such & such a time" to make something different now that I am older...and wiser I think...but I have learned now, too damn old, that I should be more tolerant than I have been and not make quick udgements about many people and things.
I recall not liking Reagans people in govt and looking back I believe I was right to not like some. However, Reagan himself would now be very welcome if he could be here for he is a far, far cry better than all those after him. He'd be terrified to see his dark and evil Americans in charge now in 2021. God help us, unless this be His udgement on this nation that has piled up so much sin.
