@@iangreer4585 I think it has been tested and I remember something like Link falling from the highest possible height in Ocarina Of Time's world only loses about a heart container and a half
Deity Link Hard? The 3DS version is 10x as easy as the original though.. personally I find MM to be very easy! Dont give up, appreciate the challenge! Its not about getting it over with as fast as possible!!:)
Plus, that fall in this video was measured with raw game mechanics (ie not a cutscene), and showed that even without a Deku Flower, he'd sustain damage but not enough to die. If you apply hacks/cheats to both OoT and MM you can moonjump way up high into the atmosphere, making the overworld look like an island in a sea of clouds (SS anyone?). Evidently this is HUNDREDS or even THOUSANDS of times the height of the hole in the tree, and if you fall from this height Link STILL won't die... unless he only has a single heart of health left. There is no obstacle or enemy that could inflict damage to Link before the fall in MM, so he is at full health when he falls. Even if there was no Deku Flower, at most he'd only lose a 3rd of his health, as he only has 3 hearts at this point. Falling in the Zelda series as a whole is of little consequence, and is very rarely fatal to Link unless his health is critically low (BotW being a notable exception).
For those of you who believe the "LINK IS DEAD" theory, Deku flowers negate fall damage, and Link landed on one. He never died.
And even if he did, wouldn’t he only lose one heart-container’s worth of health?
