  • A potato is a potato, but new potatoes, those small potatoes picked before the summer, have a special texture.
    In particular, choose yellow potatoes with blond or red skins, not just small white potatoes.
    I give you a simple method to get an amazing result, beautiful to look at and good to eat.
    As in... not the usual potato.
    Ingredients for 3 servings:
    500 g / 17,63 oz new potatoes
    2 tbsp paprika, possibly smoked one
    rosemary
    parsley
    garlic
    salt
    pepper
    2 knobs butter
    a little oil
    It is not necessary to peel the potatoes as they have a fine, fragrant skin, but wash them well.
    Using a small knife, make half-inch deep cuts all over the surface of the potatoes.
    Use a baking pan directly to wash and season the potatoes so you'll only dirty that one.
    Add two turns of oil and two teaspoons of sweet paprika, possibly smoked, to the potatoes and mix well with your hands, massaging the surface.
    Bake at 180° C / 356° F for 45 minutes.
    Meanwhile, melt 2 nuts of butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

    Add a crushed clove of garlic, a little parsley or thyme, and rosemary.
    Let the butter melt and remove from the heat; it should not fry.
    As soon as the potatoes are cooked, take them out of the oven and brush them with the flavored butter using a brush or a rosemary twig while they are still hot, and finally add coarse salt and pepper to taste.
