Not using the stock pads sort of ruined the review for me. I put Vesper sheepskin pads on mine, and it substantially changed the sound, some of it for the better, but I went back to stock as having the more pleasing sound overall with more warmth and smoother treble. The reviewer is spot on though in terms of his conclusion about the two headphones: if you mostly listen to songs, choose the 6xx; if you mostly listen to classical and orchestral, choose the 95x.

Hi great review bro! I really enjoyed it. I have a couple questions… first is,would it be ok to max out the koss amp and adjust the volume with a volume on a dac with volume control? And second have you ever compared the 6xx with 650? I’ve heard some people say they are the same and some say they’re different.
Yes, I did anyways during my review as far as maxing out th energizer and controlling with a dac or preamp. Never compared the 6XX to the 650, my understanding is the sound is nearly the same and it's fit and finish differences. Thanks for watching!!
I've always wanted to try out some eletrostats. Have you heard any of the Stax lineup and could you compare this koss with them? I'm talking more of the lower end Stax; l-300, l-500, l700.
Hi Pyregazer, I don’t have those headphones anymore as I sent them back to the owner. However since I am creating video content for TSAV now in addition to my channel and they carry Stax, I will see what I can do about getting some to review. Here is my latest video I did on their channel. DCA Stealth Closed Back Headphones Presented by TSAV ruclips.net/video/eClMGDlxZZs/видео.html
Solid review!!! I've never tried a elecrostat before, but every time I hear someone talking about one, it sounds exactly like something I'd want.
It could be!!! They tend to be a little bass light, so that is something to be aware of though. Thanks for watching and your support @Grumpy Goose
I’ve missed your reviews, glad you’re back at it!
I think I like bass too much for this to be for me but ready to see what else you come out with :)
More to come! I agree @Snow Rang3r there wasn't enough warmth for my personal listening preferences.

Thanks, @Enrique Hernandez; the owner of the headphones only sent them with the upgraded pads, so that is what I had to work with.

I would recommend only going about half over. I find it sounds better when I did half rather than full over

Love it!
@Koss Headphones thanks for watching and glad you love!!!!!!!
Horizontal and vertical pivoting? What? There's no horizontal pivoting on these.
You want my opinion? You, trying to be too nice, glibs the whole review. You're gonna have to drop that to convince me of anything.
Thanks @Astro Comical appreciate you
