I Agree with this statement that Fif in 03 was like the hood Michael Jackson lol… but his peak wasn’t that long… after the massacre, the hits fell off significantly. He’s got some album joints but even then… there’s a reason why people like the Power intro… it’s the first good 50 song in a long while. Just his 03 / 04 (with Documentary) I don’t think is enough.
Shit Wayne did 77 features in 07. That’s pretty popular, that’s a lot of work on the radio. Not every song featured on was a single, but had songs on top 40 radio, urban radio, SiriusXM hip hop and rap mixtape DJ radio shows… he was being played in white clubs, black clubs, gay clubs (I’m sure he was on some big r&b song that year… did Keri Hilson and Wayne drop in 07 lol)…

The JBP podcast were not nuanced with this debate. 20 for 20, 50 is stressing a lot of niggas out. He’s got get rich or die tryin, ( which in itself has enough hits to stress anybody out), the massacre, the g unit album, and some of the most legendary features in hip hop history including hate it or love it, how we do, best friend, ride with you, magic stick, his verse on victory and so forth.
Versus is about choice of song, delivery, stage presence,nostalgia & feel of song when it plays. Do not confuse who has a better discography with who can conjure up 20 hits in a versus. Versus is about hits, not longevity.

50 cent is the Best as far as being a product. He was the perfect archetype of a Gangster rapper and was marketed at the peak of hip hop culture. It was short lived but business wise it was the best year or two of any rap artist ever. Lil wayne is arguably the best all around hip hop artist of all time as far as records go. The Amount of great rap records he’s been apart of is unbeatable.
Law of averages gives it to Wayne - 50s debut was nutz and not many story could match but Wayne been consistent for so long.
