    Came into this hoping to hear about woodlice but instead youve just pulled me into crabs. Thank you for making such informative content available for free

    I'm not a scientist by any means, but at 34:15 the ONLY thing i am now curious about is what it would feel like if a mantis shrimp punched my finger. Could he break it? Torch it off my hand with the force of a burning sun? Where can i find a mantis shrimp? How do i get it angry enough to attack me like that snail?

      You would definitely have a gash of some sort, there's a reason why they're called thumb splitters. I believe there was case of somebody having his finger amputated due to one of the little bastards.

    Something new I learned, the crabs use water to force them to grow bigger

      Bioshyn Insects and crustaceans are both arthropods, but crustaceans are not insects and insects are not crustaceans. Insects only have 6 legs, while crustaceans normally have 10.

      I remember learning.from a few scientific papers that insects are in a group called “Pancrustacea” along with crustaceans

      @Some Kind of Rodent
      The insect and crustacean groups both diverged from the same primordial arthropod group.
