This was VERY refreshing to see! Lots of yelling, lots of emotion on behalf of the reenactors. GIs made the Germans sit down rather than getting on their knees when taking prisoners. A huge plus on that. This was fantastic.
i disagree, as pvt events dont have the hollywood pyrotechnics, or the squabbling between the troops such as the fight between prisoners that lead to the pistols being pulled and shot 2 feet from someone. i had someone pull a pistol and shoot it near my in december and it left my ears ringing most of the day. i hate the movie like scripting of public battles like that where it gets super theatrical. everyone wants to act like theyre in a movie.
@@quellochepensaprimadiparla6101 yes. But it is a thing from real life to!. Please search up "kilroy" on Google or RUclips and read/listen to the backstory. It's very interesting!
This was incredible, and I often am very critical of reenactment videos. The acting, scenario, high emotions and REALISTIC behavior is what made it a gem. We need more just like this, engaging, tense, and the people in it actually giving a hoot. Well done.
A giant BRAVO to every single reenactor! Better than actors, they put feelings in what they were doing! This is I think really close to what we would have seen skirmishing, with no Hollywood musics and stuff.
When the USA fought in ww2,every place they attacked was made a painting in walls and vehicles, was a homunculus like thingy with a big nose, his name was Kilroy, most likely the first meme ever. Also there is a wall covering his body, minus the head.
*The German soldier of World War II deserves more respect and honor. The vast majority of them were humans like you and me victims of a criminal system that sent them into combat. Like any army, the punishment for not fighting in a time of war was death. A shitty situation for the German soldier who may have not agreed with Hitler but still held by law to do his duty. In fact they fought for their families, for their home country and most notably for their comrades next to them! i'm inspired and fascinated by this great and mighty army. And I think it's terrible that they get so little respect!*
I know this is a bit late but what’s funny is that I went to this one! First WW2 re-enactment I ever went to and it was amazing. I hope they have another one in 2018.
If a movie was filmed in this way the whole way through and was essentially a sorta Documentary but it had no explanation except what was being said by both sides, I’d watch it 100%.
This is probably one of the best I have seen.I have seen a few over the years at the War and peace show but I have been disappointed on a few occasions when the Germans are talking with Cockney Accents. It's realistic to see them stay in character
If you want more German victories, keep an eye on this channel and watch more of his stuff. He somehow manages to film every German won engagement it seems lol
Well americans have duct tape. Duct tape is better than anything else. Duct tape treats all kinds of wounds. If you have a broken leg put some duct tape on it and it’ll heal in about 5 minutes. Duct tape solves all problems, and if it doesn’t work initially more duct tape will solve the issue. Americans have duct tape so Americans never die.
What he really meant was "GET ME THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!". Im basing my assumption off the fact that he was damn near punching homeboy in the back of the head lol
the only unrealistic thing about it is that everything looks band new, theres no battle wounds or damaged vehicles, they should have makeup on and battle scars on the vehicles
Theres not much recoil with a 30-06 its just a 7.62x39 on crack 😂 also the gun is wood and wood is dense also the garand has some weight i shoot a 12 gauge for sport shooting and theres hardly any recoil chill out and stop being so critical
This was VERY refreshing to see! Lots of yelling, lots of emotion on behalf of the reenactors. GIs made the Germans sit down rather than getting on their knees when taking prisoners. A huge plus on that. This was fantastic.
HkSniper me to
Jack Armstrong yes
had me hooked when the soldier started screaming get the f out of here.
I know him 😆 it's very him
81brookelynn yells get the f out of here then just laying down rounds
81brookelynn made it feel more real.
Same
Ikr
The way this is filmed reminds me of Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers. Incredible editing!
Throw in a couple squibs, and it'd be like watching Band Of Brothers - these reenactors aren't screwing around; I love it!
I know the guy who screams on the jeep at the beginning, he's cool.
Really? I want to shake his hand. XD
tell him hes a legend
Tell him to get the fuck out of here lol
Anchoraweigh dying
chad
Loved the reaction, in the start, of the guy on the jeep spotting the germans and firing his M1 Garand.
I know that guy 😆 it's very him
Yes, he should be on every reenactment event
Excellent ... you never guess this was a public battle re-enactment. You made these guys look too dam good... there heads are going to swell-up.

i hate when no one seems to want to die as well
What German division is it is it 2nd Panzer Division
Heinz Thiel i was there i got to meet you
James Tallakson So, your telling me an officer wouldn’t pull his pistol on a rowdy prisoner?

Even most of the reenactors are the right age and fit enough! It’s always the overweight middle-aged guys who ruin the feel.
@@colem_h I agree and yes it may be rude but the Volksturm (the civilian army thing) would be good for them as it would be more accurate

I wish more reencatments were like this! Great video!
I have found the best best videographer for these Midwest WWII events. Outstanding documentary quality.
best reenactment video I ever watched- seriously.

One of the best reenactments I’ve seen.

Please come back, you guys are awesome 👍
At the end of the movie, one of the German reenactors should have shouted: "Who wants to send a message to Germany!"
This is probably one of the best I have seen.I have seen a few over the years at the War and peace show but I have been disappointed on a few occasions when the Germans are talking with Cockney Accents. It's realistic to see them stay in character
This is the most realistic one so far
As fellow reenactor, well done boys.
I know the guy driving the tank
i finally enjoying this history :3
Glad to see your still making videos! keep up the good work.
I love when they guy on the Jeep yelled get the fuck out of here and discharged his weapon super realistic and I love it
These clips look amazing
This is best video I've ever seen. Really like that ameican soldier on jeep :D
That was the German Division I was going to join
And what division are you in for reenacting?
1:00 in and I completely forgot that I was watching a reenactment. I'm lit.
1:14 When they eploded they were like Oh theres a explosion that means where shot
They sound so professional
I wonder if at the end of the re enacrments they all go have some drinks or refreshments and sit and talk about how fun it was?
brilliant! just like a movie.

How come does the americans have god mode XD
MCmasterMiner_ 7777 GI syndrome my friend, they are the "Big American Hero" and don't feel death is a part of their job.
Some of them did die though, like at 5:32 .
Because they are americans i guess....

And what were the Germans supposed to do against a battalion of Shermans?
Good acting ya know, nice accents too I'm impressed
2:35 had me laughing 😂
Ayo why there no sound
Edit: Nvm grandad had the Bluetooth headphones on and now he's crying and screaming for some reason
Triggered people in the comment section are complaining that the Americans won. Fucking hell.
Great reenactment! Although im curious to what they where shooting
a prime example of the gi effect every ww2 reenactors worst nightmare

where is the part where they are all executed for being in the ss
@Jack Armstrong I know a guy who checked every prisoner for tattoos.
@Jack Armstrong the high school text books don't like talking about that bro
3:36 hey look its kilroy
That "get the fuck outta here!!!" guy made me watch the entire video
"GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!!! GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!!" *Repeatedly fires his M1 Garand* lmaoo
The second buddy boy started shouting "GET US THE FUCK OUT OF HERE" and started popping rounds, I knew this was real shit... Well you get me
Holy shit, hahaha. That panzershreck. I’ve had that happen to me once or twice with a couple of girls. Nerves and all..
Really well done!
I like how the Americans take barely any casualties
I love seeing reenactments but the GI effect, get on your knees and the 101st airborne low-carry just ruins it all for me
I think the guy wielding the shieldless Panzerschrek should have one of the face masks due to the blowback
I love how the Germans are just yelling their hearts out and the Americans are just saying JUST SHUT UP!
Kilroy *was* here.
Are 5hese blanks with gunpowder and paper just wondering i always found these reenactments fascinating
super la video

Can anyone recommend any good sites to order guns for a reenactment?

Is there any re enactments in Missouri?
Yes WW2 weekend at Jefferson barracks and Vietnam weekend at the same place.
A Tiger II would have been nice
They were 44 45 right at the end of the war but if a tiger showed up it would have been over early
Wait, what if I were to join this and I didn't speak German?

I have one question how do reenactors know they been hit
they don't, they just kinda die when they want too

I love these videos but all the troops in uniforms are way to clean no dents on the helmets add that an these will be spot on
this is on par with 'Saving Private Ryan' lol ;)
